just check out the quality of the carpets even on a base model! you just don't get this with modern cars

What rear diffuser is that? Looks so much better than the one on mine with only the center section!
It’s just the stock M-Sport diffuser . The reflectors were tinted, and the tips were larger than stock with the AWE. Maybe you have the M Performance one?
How about daily driving mate? Isn’t it too loud?
Yes, it was very loud (I have since sold the car for unrelated reasons.) This setup (catless dp, no res, AWE muffler) creates some drone at lower RPMs and is not ideal for daily driving. I would recommend installing just the exhaust with a catted dp and resonator in place for daily driving.

I'd recommend this setup but with the resonator still in place, and/or either the stock downpipe, or a high-flow catted one. I'll post a video of the sound when I went catless tomorrow. It was too loud and uncontrolled.

I just want to make it clear that this video is a REVIEW of the strut brace, not an installation guide!
Did the strut come with bolts to secure it? If not what bolts did you use?
Dem Pal the strut brace is secured using the car’s existing top mount bolts. always torque to spec
bavarian_tuned I did some research and read on various forums that the bolts that come with the car are single use bolts and shouldn't be reused after being taken out that's why I asked
Dem Pal good to know. I have since sold the F30, but my F31 has the strut brace on it now. i’ll order new bolts. thanks
I just installed it and does the strut bar cause an indentation on the hood liner?

I just picked this up from Kies for my 2013 335i F30. I was totally the same I bought so much from them in the last 2 months. Glad that your opinion coincides with Brian's, not a lot of reviews. I was hoping for a video on the rear strut. Just curious what did you install for the Stage 2 with Boodmod3? So far I just did a Stage 1 with a FMIC, charge pipe and exhaust. I'm itching to get the MST intake also.
I installed an intercooler, chargepipe, downpipe, exhaust, new spark plugs (1 step colder,) new ignition coils, and i needed a new clutch so i upgraded to a 335is/550i clutch with a stock flywheel.
It would help if you mentioned the year and model of your car instead of just f30 which is super general. People are ordering these only to discover they don’t fit f30..... way too many differences in the models of f30
Scott Johnson this strut brace fits not only every model of the F30 before it switched to the B58/48, but also every model based on the F3X platform (F31, F32, F33, F36.) with the N-series engines. You can check the fitment on Turner’s website. My car is a 2013 335i M-Sport 6sp. manual with EDC and Variable Sport Steering.
Appreciate the straight to the point unbiased review. Not sure when I'm going to get around to this mod, I just installed all the bolt on mods + stage 2 so gotta take a little break from throwing money at it!
Harshil Patel Nice! Well, when you do get to the next round of mods, I would recommend pairing the strut brace with a set of nice coilovers if you can. I regret not making suspension my #1 priority for sure
