I know this isn't necessarily relevant to this specific scene, but I have a theory on why Teresa didn't allow Melissa to visit her in prison. They used to be enemies, and then they finally made up and became a family, but because they had such a rocky past, Teresa was too insecure to let melissa see her in such a vulnerable position.

I don't agree with a lot of things Theresa has done. But I don't think she deserved going to prison for what her husband did and in this scene I feel for her as a mother. I don't even want to imagine what it would be like to be taken away from my children and my family turned upside down forever!!! Joe Giudice is so lucky to have those daughters to stand by his side not judging him for what he did to his family!! I hate to say it but I think he deserves the acceptance he's gotten. I just hope he never hurts them again!! He doesn't seem to quite understand the level of hurt and dysfunction he has caused, I don't think he even thinks about it and if he does he'll never admit it!! He's to much of a narcissist!!
