Thank you, Monk. Your comment describes exactly why I did this metal series. Essentially, I chose some of the more difficult drum parts from a variety of metal songs (some were requests) and did the play through and "Drums only", to see and to hear exactly what the percussion is, that's being played. Glad you enjoyed this one. Yes, tricky parts, for sure. Some of M. Portnoy's most amazing work.

Thank you so much for the amazing comment! This one's got tricky drumming all the way through, and specific equipment is required. The 18" Oriental Zildjian/trash cymbal stack is the deep stack, which I I keep on the kit regularly to cover DT. M. Mangini basically designed this stack, but it sounds identical to the accent used in this LOG song. Glad you enjoyed it and the mix. The mix can always present a challenge.
