I have read a few EU fact checks and I noticed a pattern. The most recent was on crime in Germany. They picked one politician who claimed that 60% of crime in Germany was committed by migrants. They blasted it as false, using their fact checking, then they used a percentage saying no 58% of those who committed crimes were German nationals. But they didn’t offer the real numbers which is 15% of the German population are migrants and were in 2023 responsible for 42% of the crime in Germany. They try to bait and switch you instead of being honest and offering all the data. Sad that their personal emotional insecurities and narratives controls what they write instead of simply being honest and saying ok yes 42% not 60% of crimes are by migrants or non German citizens According to PCS 2023, 41% of suspects in Germany in 2023 were not German nationals, which is an increase of 13.5% from 2022. Foreigners make up 15% of Germany's population.
