Student Council Closes Semester with Festive Fun

To get into the holiday spirit student council is shining light on positivity through their Christmas Tree hall decoration in the cafeteria this December. Students were encouraged to share anything positive with those around by writing on paper ornaments to decorate the tree and bring in the festive fun. Percussion section plays at national convention after UIL championship

This season, the AHS band made an impressive journey to the state competition in which the percussion section placed first overall. Theater Department Plans Yearly Community Fundraising Events

While campus programs are often funded through the district, the theater program goes an extra step to organize local events for their funding. Staff and students spend after school hours to plan and put together these events for our local community, as this money ultimately makes tickets cheaper and provides rights to show production.
