Their 2010 Spartan Tiller kept breaking down on them too frequently. So they needed a spare tiller for the time being.

The company just has that ladder board saved from their old 1990s rig that they kept and they put it on whatever spare rig they get. And yes, as far as I know the tiller trucks are permanently attached together.

I don’t blame you one bit! That was when Sutphen and LaFrance made real engines and trucks! I owned my own 1965 Seagrave Engine for 24 years and it was pumping 1500gpm on the day I said goodbye to it!!

The whole department has those sirens actually! The engines are all freightliners (except for E70) but they all have EQs! And yes, Spartans pretty dang cool.

Yeah agreed, each TFD appuratus has its own paint scheme, which makes the fleet very special in my opinion
