I really enjoy these episodes. Where does your header “werewolf” cover for the channel come from? Thanks guys! Appreciate you
Stay tuned. We will answer your question. On next weeks show.
Thanks for the question.
I'm discovering through this show that I love painted covers; that Swamp Thing 34 is gorgeous.
Painted covers are fantastic. One of my favorites is the web of Spider-Man annual 1.
That’s a great “tour” idea!
You may have already explained this but why doesn't Jeremy have any comics on display?
Thanks for the question. I'll ask Jeremy that question for our next show.
Love your channel guys! Keep it up!
Thank you!
WHAT A GREAT SHOW TY GUYS LIKED ANS SUBBED!
Yay! Thanks for subscribing! We put out a new episode every weekend.
Love those Darwyn Catwoman issues. I’m currently hunting as much Darwyn as I can!
He did some great covers!
Love the CPV tour!
Thanks I'm sure there will be more CPVs tours to come!😊
Dig that X-Men in the OG slab. I don’t understand people who regrade just to get newer slabs. Some day the old slabs will be collectible!
That's a good point!
No green skin people!!!
Nobody loves the Hulk!
I’m shocked no one has covered this character and the stories in the old war comics. Ive been slowly collecting throughout titles that include this character . I genuinely believe they should bring this back along with GI Combat. My favorite character is the Unknown Soldier from the new 52
Old war books are great! Thanks for watching!
I am mostly focusing buying Silver Age and Bronze Age Comics. I also scaled back buying new releases.
I can buy 3 cool Bronze Age books for the price of 1 new release!
The only new books on my pull list are Captain America and my little pony friendship is magic. One of the books is for my daughter. I'll pick up an interesting cover if I see it but that's it really.
OH Adam....
More like go Adam, am I right 😃
WOW Great John Byrne Cover!
Totally agree Sky! I'd never seen that one.
That's also the one that stood out to me! Very striking black
I think my favorite of the books you showed this week was the Skottie Young Black Panther; just something about the dark foreground on the light yellow background appealed to me.
Thanks, I'm starting to really like Skottie Young covers.
Hey Guys ! loved the vid and Great books also...love that Skottie Young Spider Woman neg space especially...Peace n Love ✌️
Glad you liked it! Peace n Love.
That Flash/Zoom cover is downright fantastic. Fun theme for the tour this week!
Thanks! You should read it. Zoom is such a good bad guy!
Those Frank Miller Ronin books are criminally undervalued. Great episode, you guys!
Those book have been under the radar for too long. Great story and Miller at his creative peak
I think ' the purple hair ' look is a immediate deterrent to the enjoyment of this pooptube channel? Whatever it is. Because I have no idea outside of the amusing pictures wtf is going on because the 'purple hair ' look is a distraction and annoying. Overall I give this pooptube video a very unfartworthy rating or two farts out of 13. 😂
It's always nice to hear from a fan. 😃
Hi Guys ! 😎
HI! Hope you enjoyed the show!
TwoMorrows publishing is cool, just got my first Comic Book Creator issue recently (#15, gorgeous Mark Schultz cover). Back Issue magazine is super fun too. Jeremy’s caught the Bruce Timm bug! I need that Black Panther issue.
Really tough choice in the Either/Or, but I think I'm going with Bone.
Bone 1 is great!
TMNT 1 is the correct answer 😅. Jeremy, great price on that Mad Love, super jealous. Andy, good show on the All Star Supes. Guys, I really appreciate what you’re doing here. Chasing “Keys” is so groan inducing and played out to me. It’s the new 90’s spec boom. If you happen to love a key because of the story and art, that’s great. But if you’re buying Red Hulk because of the new movie trailer, you’re a huckster, imo.
I totally agree about key chasing, 98% of what I collect is what I like and not what I want to flip.
Thanks! All star Superman is great! Thanks for best an awesome viewer!
I really like those Hawkeyes; very cool covers! Thanks for showing all the variants 🙂
Yeah! It was a fun read. I'll let you borrow them.
Andy, we have the same taste. I bought those All Crime Books off eBay about two months ago. You got a better deal than me! But I love the flight attendant cover so much. Jeremy, I don’t think she’s drawn differently than the pilots, I just see it as they’re in the foreground and wrinkly men. She’s a Bruce Timm beauty further back.
@@seanmitchell8151 I was so surprised buy the price. I thought they might be fakes. It's nice to know there are others with such refined taste as me! 😄
What book would you choose in the either-or segment? Wolverine or TMNT?
@@CommonComicCovers OK, I’m biased because TMNT is my comic book Genesis. I bought a 7.5 third print last year and it’s my grail. Hoping them turtle boys (especially No. 1) keeps winning your stand offs!
I love Bone, I had the art book signed by Jeff Smith in like 2008 or so at ECCC. I need to read it to my kids, in sure they'd love it
Ooo... That bone art book looks amazing. So, I guess you'd be picking Bone 1 for either/or? My daughter loves it. I read it to her when she was 4. I don't think I went to ECCC that year. Too bad. Andy
@@CommonComicCovers I've got the complete book as well so I wouldn't need to get the individual issues
The black and white giant book! I've got the same one! Andy
I can't decide which is funnier, whether Jeremy said "Dave Steves" instead of "Rick Steves" intentionally or not.
He totally did that on purpose. What comics would you pick in either/or?
Hmm gotta go with Bone, I think, for sentimental value.
A tour of comic books with Rick Steves.
I’m also collecting Timm, got Batman Beyond #1 yesterday. Nice pickups lads!
Batman Beyond! That Is a book I'd like to own. What book would you pick in either/or?
Bruce Timm is great!
@@CommonComicCovers I’d pick the Albedo book, love Stan Sakai and Usagi. I never got into Bone, don’t hate me! That’s an interesting either/or because they’re both independent creator owned characters! Bone went to the moon with Scholastic, well done Jeff Smith and his wife.
That book is high on my pull list.
No hate. I haven't read the Usagi books.😬
Role Playing....Is This something New?? You guys are Hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks Jay! What book would you pick in either/or?
TMNT 1, of course; not even close
You're correct! It was the #1 seed vs the 8 seed. Hope you liked the video.😄
Guys, I’ve recently become OBSESSED with Mark Schultz Xenozoic and Cadillacs & Dinosaurs covers. Xenozoic issues 4 and 10 are my favs, check them out if you’re bored. Also just got his Various drawings volume 4 solely for the cover. Great pics this week from both of you, I want! Edit: I knew I liked you guys! TMNT 1 all Day!
I'll have to check out the Xenozoic and Cadillacs & Dinosaurs. Are those current books coming out?
@@CommonComicCovers they came out late 80s early 90s. Spawned a one season cartoon and Sega video game, but never got crazy popular. Mark Schultz is seriously underrated.
Sounds right up our alley! I'm going to start looking for them. Thanks for the recommendation Sean! Andy
Cadillacs AND Dinosaurs?! I’m in! I’ll check it out! -Jeremy
Yo 🤘
Hey hay!
“Man she had a tough beat that she walked” 😂. Can you imagine that book coming out today?
Weirdly I could imagine it as a TV show. 😀 Andy
Hi Guys 👋
Hi @Jaybo_Fett!
Thanks for saying hi! Andy
Sounds like Jeremy needs to start his own church. Call it... Church of Common Comic Covers and Christ on the Cross at Calvary.
Oh boy. I really don't like giving Jeremy that much influence. 😁
Welcome to the comic book community fellow comictuber 👋
Thank you! I'll go find and follow you.
@@CommonComicCovers I sbd y'all up as well 💪
Great Books Guys !
Thanks 🙏! Jay!
Love your “non key” concept. Don’t follow the herd! I just picked up the two Bruce Timm issues you have on your shelf behind you! ❤
Thanks! It's been fun making the show! Love Bruce Timm!
Great show
Thanks for watching!
I agree with Jeremy's choice in Either/Or this time 🙂
He has good taste.
Gotta love a good David Mack cover
Love David Mack!
Wow, spoiler alert on that Chilling Adventures in Sorcery, Jeremy.
Jeremy likes to spoil 50 year old books. So frustrating.😄
How is UA-cam recommending me a podcast by people I know irl. That algorithm knows something.
That's pretty amazing! I hope you enjoyed seeing us and subscribed! You should reach out and let us know who you are.
@@CommonComicCovers Oh hey, it's Charles. I still remember when I was the only kid who showed up to that church hallowween event and you showed me your redeemable for gold $10 treasury bills.
I hope everyone found some new treasures on Free Comic Book Day!
they did a magazine size collection of the Rocketeer series by Dave Steve's in a hard and soft cover, that might be what he has.
I believe you're right 👍 thanks for watching!
Great cover…….this run of Cockrum, Byrnes, and Davis was fabulous!!!
100% agree! Thanks for listening!
I like that Detective Comics cover, Jeremy! So when is Trash or Treasure coming back? 😃
Trash or treasure will be back with issue number 26.
🖤🔥 DARK PHOENIX IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE RUNS 🔥🖤
It's so good. Thanks for watching Sky!
Very cool Dark Phoenix cover; I think the pink splashes are really eye-catching
We love silly!!!!!
Who doesn't!
Love that Adventures into the Unknown cover! Very striking
It's so good!
Please note this episode was recorded before the sad news of Trina Robins passing on 4/10/2024. She designed the costume for Vampirella and was a pioneer in the Comic book industry.
