The best time to build was before Covid obviously. But the 2010’s - 2020 was the best time. Things are way too expensive to build a home from scratch now.

I toured the Elmina Dungeon. I refused to get off the bus bc it was so heavy & demonic. A pastor that came on the trip talked me into going in. It was horrible, but the least I could do is hear what happened. No one else in the west talks about this.
@@tiffanyspencer2782 Thank you for your comment! Keyword, no one in the West talks about this and even if they were talking about it, there’s nothing more soul connecting than experiencing it firsthand. You’re right about it being heavy! It’s will pull on your spirit, but I believe that it’s necessary to know and feel what our ancestors experienced for us to still be here today. Last point, Elmina Dungeon tour felt like a money grab to me. My tour experience there felt really watered down compared to Cape Coast. When I say money grab, everything lead us to the gift shop and restaurant, which I’m not in the mood for either after my experience.
Been a subscriber to Zayloc23. Just landed onto your channel. I subscribe to every diaspora that takes the leap to the motherland. I call on all my fellow African brothers to suscribe to diaspora channels. We have to support them. Cameroonian in Dallas. Luv you brothers.
I'm coming as soon as I get my money together. I could move to Ghana now, but rushing myself could easily mess myself up. I don't have much patience, but I'm coming. I can't wait to live there. I visited Ghana in 2006. That was the 1st time I've ever been proud of my blackness & peace. I need that.
All you need is a piece of land, you got your brothers there to help you so you don’t get duped. Come back home.
@@tiffanyspencer2782 4sure, please don’t rush the process without a plan. Coming from and comparing the amenities and lifestyle to the Americans is my biggest challenge. But in these challenges are also opportunities. But if you haven’t visited Ghana since 2006, so much growth I am sure. I’ve seen so much growth just in the three years that I’ve been traveling back.

In Uganda foreigners can't outright own land. You can lease the land for 50 years or more. Then there is the shadyness and corruption in the government. I did all the leg work, talked to land sellers and community leaders. It was all too sketch for me.
It’s the same in Ghana as well. I have a 50 year lease with option to renew for another 50 years.

Sometimes I wonder how many people on YT are really living out of their vehicle. Then I see these videos that make me wanna join the cause. I want some time away and to save more for retirement so I can travel when it’s time and have no worries.
Well we all know that there are those who love the clickbait but don’t let that be the reason you do or don’t join the lifestyle. Your ‘why’ has to be strong because it is not easy. I’ve been in the lifestyle for almost 3 years now (This is an older video) and I love the freedom that I have. One of my reasons for my journey is to retire to Africa and the lifestyle helps me save.
@@JrEv3rd yes thank you. I had been thinking the same. To do this and retire to move some place. I already made up my mind and am preparing to do this also. Today I am doing a test of the set up for my small suv. It’s an equinox I’m ready for this journey.
If you don’t live in a populated area your fence is understandable. Nice video 👍🏽

Hi Bro, You right about Accra living. Accra is artificially expensive and so you can get most of some items double for the same item outside Accra.
Facts, I love the growth of Ghana but fear that it will out grow the natives financially
It already has, bro. So sad! People of Accra, (as I am,) saw the influx of "foreigners" the last 10-12yrs, and literally lost their minds on prices of everything!! Such a shame. I'm Accra native, born and raised, and I don't even recognize my beautiful clean spacious city anymore. It was never ever like this, and now, our brothers and sister diasporans are suffering with prices needlessly. It's ok, Sapeiman is not bad at all, quite close to Accra for all your needs. Where are u going to be permanently moving to, if u don't mind?@@JrEv3rd
