I post videos here to have a record of my flights for my review and I dont have the storage for (almostl) 5K videos averaging 4GB each. :) Also, I do have videos from other locations, like Windsurfer, Pond Park, Circle P Ranch, Zaphods Castle. Eagles AF is just my main haunt. Thanks!

@@neilywan1 the field I fly, EaglesAF is a FRIA (federally recognized independent airspace) so we're given a but more leeway on some things. But thanks, and stay safe!

You must land the reset camera settings before the props spin up... so it's hit/miss depending on the conditions.

@@rj66600 This is the DJI FPV, I think with the Gen2 goggles. It's an addictive habit, and I'm unsure how to deal with the coming ban on DJI products...

@skunkfive9670 I was looking forward to using dji virtual flight on my new phone [s24]. It was lagging a bit on my s21, but virtual flight is no longer available from I think s23 and up. Forcing people to use liftoff even with the Dji FPV DLC it's still no where near as realistic as virtual flight. Hopefully Dji release a new version!.

@@kutabareseniorita6036 check out Tryp FPV, it's very chill and relaxing and has some gorgeous scenes to fly in.

I appreciate the advice. I've been flying manual mode for over a year on this drone, and have never flown their simulator (I have, however, flown w/ real-life RC transmitter in Liftoff (142hrs so far) and Tryp FPV (20hrs)). The manual-mode stuff isn't where I find most of my joy in flying, I really focus on the pictures I'm taking, and the opportunity to play Superman for a while. I've been flying this thing for almost 3 years, but having so much more fun than the 3 quads (and 1 tricopter) I built from scratch. The digital video is the key - my 250mw analog transmitter had such limited range it was usually more frustrating than entertaining. DJI did FPV right, IMO. I may got back to analog FPV if I get a micro-drone to fly around the house and pester the wife and kitties. :P

@skunkfive9670 haha cool man I'm very new to it. I used liftoff with real rc control too but I find the physics aren't quite right (for the dji fpv anyway). You take some awesome footage man. I would have hated having analogue as a fpv system to start with that with make things alot harder imo can't see cables etc. The DJI 03 air unit is awesome however. I'm thinking about getting a 7 or 5 inch more the crazy stuff but I love the speed and the distance I can travel with my dji fpv. It's amazing. I just got 3 more batteries for it too :) my goal is to fly up a mountain ridge and back down it in the next few days. Just waiting on the weather to become still.

Thanks, I have considered it. But at $130 per battery my fund generally go to keeping this thing floating around the sky... :P

@skunkfive9670 I just crashed and the arm braces saved the drone 100%..I was able to take off again Straihht away although damage was there is was able to fix it with a bit of glue and a new prop. Without those braces it would of been In peices man. I just uploaded 7 part video [cudnt be bothered editing] the 7th is where I crashed. I got 6 batteries so far, I just get them of ali express, usually they have 0 cycles some have 1 or 2 it's way cheaper that way.

I will check with the pilot - it seems pretty popular, a few of the pilots have them. I believe it's an SU-27 but I will confirm and get the manufacturer.

@@mucy2807 I've scratch-built 5 drones, all of them were turds compared to this one. DJI has some very good engineers.
