I purchased this Alocasia Lutea in the summer, while visiting my bestie in Virginia. The first day, I left the plant inside my car, with the windows up, in 100 degree heat. If you acclimatise them slowly they will grow in full sun. My are in full subtropical sun but I water them everyday in summer.

This was really helpful! I recently reported my stingray and found a number of baby corms. The parent plant is slowly dying back, and now I think I need to look if there was any actual corm attached. Any hope for it if there isn’t?
