Ya see there is a few major problem with auto start/stop, one it takes more fuel to start a motor then to le t it idle, two I do believe most states still have a law were it's illegal to turn your engine off at a stop light. It falls under loss of control of the vehicle. Above all it FREAKING STUPID!

With this truck you can keep the truck idle if you want. With the truck on, push in your yellow valve, then on your steering wheel press the cruise control button labeled "on" then press the "res" or "set" button to the top or bottom of cruise control, then pull out your yellow valve. If you do it correctly on your dash on the bottom right corner of the screen you will see "Engine Throttle". It's now engaged, pressing the brake will turn this off & you'll have to do it again.

This definitely worked for me. Give it some time to kick on. Even the front vents came on and blew heat 🙏🏾

Ya takes 9 hours for the truck to turn back on about that time it’s your already dead from being frozen

It only worked for me when 1st got my truck... Now the AC turns off at 12.4V and the auto stop start doesn't work.

7-7.5 freightliner we hittin 8.7 on a hilly bad day and 9-9.4 consistent.

simply, i dont understand, why no truck comes like if u turn on the a/c in the bunk with the apu/battery, it would give cold/warm air in the front too?¿???? someone is sleeping in the bunk, a/c on, curtain closed, the other driver is dying in the 50c in the front... stupud

On the Kenworth i can turn on the feature for the heat without having the truck on... Thats the point of having the feature so the truck doesn't have to idle. I understand the AC but there is no reason for the truck to be on if i have a heat unit. I can turn on the heat unit even if the start/stop is off but the damn AC still turns on while my heat is on which makes no damn sense!
