that's what I've heard! I haven't had a chance to build him out yet, and a lot of those rare heroes (like Arthur) don't really shine until you hit Chiv 8, so might be more of a long-term prospect. having said that, frost Arthur at 50 does some good work for me in the favour dungeon

very nice! yeah, Penveid is a key place to focus for upgrades. you can get away with ignoring gear for the most part in early game/campaign, but once you start hitting higher levels good gear is really necessary. 3-star gear with decent substats can carry you pretty far though, when paired with upgraded heroes

@@redoubtflame2 I don't know how I'll get through Crom Cruatch 10-7 Normal. Oh well, I guess I can keep on trying to get better. I can at least run through some Yslkahaig 4 with current squads. It'd be nice if I could get better gear, but who knows? You work with what you've got.

@@MartySalo yeah that's a tough one. I had to upgrade most of my heroes and still needed a ton of rng to make it work. I probably spent an hour re-running that level before I finally got it. I used Kay for damage, Clementine for heals, Morgan, and Merlin (though you could probably put in a dmg dealer for him). had to get lucky with Kay out first to do damage and then super lucky with crit hits. apparently Guinivere makes it easy if you have her.

@@redoubtflame2 Yeah, no Gwen. I did recently get Clementine. No Merlin.

on the other hand, it's kinda nice to be able to finish playing and do other things the rest of the day lol!

yeah if you can get good substats on 4 star gear it's definitely doable. i'm still using some 3 star pieces. a lot of stats come from awakenings and relic upgrades as well

@redoubtflame2 most are either C1 or C2. But sigrun is C6, gillien C4.

thanks! yeah that looks nice - still on a cooldown unfortunately, but I guess if dec def could be every turn it would be too much. but an aoe dec def on the A2 is pretty sweet.

@redoubtflame2 yeas you also need to level up passive skills to reduce cool down, is not easy but the results are amazing, keep doing videos bro, i just subbed.

you have to get far enough in the campaign to unlock awakenings, then there are a couple of dungeons that open up to farm upgrade materials for heroes and relics

through the favor dungeon - you get statues that let you awaken heroes. first awakening lets you equip belts.

Kay is my top dmg atm, definitely worth the investment!

@StewGaming has a bunch of recommendations on what hero(es) to reroll for. I was more interested in giving a walkthrough of how to do it using Nox and playing through the intro to Camelot. But yeah, Merlin is a pretty good target.

I'm enjoying it for sure! there are some pretty cool mechanics and a good storyline.
