The Round Lake Area Park District (RLAPD) serves more than 19,000 households in the communities of Hainesville, Round Lake, Round Lake Beach, Round Lake Heights and Round Lake Park. The Park District's mission is to promote healthy lifestyles through recreation programs, facilities and open spaces.
The Park District has 74 park sites. Our facilities include the Renwood Golf Course, the Children's Neighborhood Museum, the Prairie Grass Nature Museum, the Robert W. Rolek Community Center, Hart's Woods Challenge Course, the Aquatics Center pool and Splash Pad, and the 50,000-square-foot Sports Center, which features an adult-sized, regulation indoor soccer field.
