You mention that a cost of living adjustment is badly needed by the employees of Harris County. Here is a juicy fact for you: Harris County Retirees have NEVER received a cost of living adjustment. Never. So if you think you are hurting now, just wait until you retire and get eaten alive by inflation.

Although it states on the path signs no motorized vehicles, Texas Transportation Code 551.106 states " The department or a local authority may not prohibit the operation of an electric bicycle. A $1.2 billion dollar bond proposal brought to us by the same people who burned money for the past three years, sent the man who had Harris County sitting pretty with a A+ Bond rating packing, and replaced him with the guy who helped get Baltimore $1.6 billion in debt.
