Premium Dining | South Devon Explorer | The Railway Touring Company
Our trip on the South Devon Explorer charter service by The Railway Touring Company on the 28th of May 2022. Premium Dining consisted of a Full English Breakfast with Tea and Coffee followed by a 4 course dinner on our return journey.

Turbo and egr replaced last year and dpf flushed and now it does this when i accelerate hard. Mileage is 234,000

My turbo was replaced at 219,000 miles, then from 227,000 miles it starts misfiring under hard acceleration. Its had a new clutch, DMF, DPF recently flushed, new EGR valve.. i myself have replaced the MAF, MAP, intake manifold, butterfly doser, exhaust pressure sensor and the battery. The turbo piping is all ok and no leaks, intercooler is fine and cleaned out and i have vacuum checked all the ...

Found the issue since?
Same problem for my engine, the whispering with the same noise , the intercooler tube 0382RN was damaged. Could you please state the diagnosis and the solution you found.
Hey you had that trangr deep sound at 0:27-0:28 or the hissing?
This is Overboost?
It was something to do with the EGR valve. When it was unplugged, it ran perfectly fine. I think its because I have an exhaust leak, its throwing off the DPFe sensor which controls the egr valve. Still havent got round to fixing it yet but car is still going even past 240,000 miles!
