This is our first weekend on the water with our new pontoon. I opted for the Mercury 150, Lowrance EliteFS9 fish finder and Minnkota Terrova80 trolling motor. The motor has plenty of power and cruised all weekend and used less than half a tank (36 gals) It cost about $150.00 to fill up with premium where I live.

Honda Monkey Windscreen Install
Переглядів 8 тис.Рік тому
A very simple install of an affordable upgrade to my Monkey. I may be fabricating some new brackets to get a little better fit for my liking but this product shipped fast and arrived in pristine condition from Australia to Georgia, USA. The color was close to the Nebula red but a little off. I did notice less wind in my chest and a little quieter ride with my half shell helmet and "maybe" 1 mph...
Honda Monkey Windscreen

Today I installed the Windscreen from Monkeybikeworld.com The install was very easy but I feel the fitment could be a little better. I will modify or make a new set of brackets to close the gap between the windscreen and the headlight. I will post a video of the install soon monkeybikeworld.com/products/monkey-125cc-wind-shield-nebula-red?_pos=1&_sid=1229d83f8&_ss=r

Gold only thing I was missing. I'll buy you a beer 🍺
On my kit for the 24 model, for the rock switch it needs power. I was wondering if i splice that line into
Shut up old man ...
What’s that noise? Yeesh!
@@FlyingCircusAct great question. Sounds like I am fishing with a fan on 😝
Wow, Stage3's. Definitely riding in style.
I think you can get better results with Meguiar's Scratch 2.0
Sweet truck
Thanks, it belongs to my daughter. We bought if for her when she made honor roll in high school. She sold it to go to college to become a nurse. Ten years later it showed up on facebook marketplace. The same guy she sold it to still had it and she bought it back. Then we gave her a few new facelift and accessories
@@erocgr00t6 nice
💯💯
You were able to do that during your break from work! You must work for the county 😎
I like it.
The tan color in the center of the clutch cover is the bushing, it's a fiber bushing and the cracks are just casting marks as the other fella said, always grease the threads of your puller gives it way more torque less chance of damage. Good video man👌
Thank you
I live in Cornelia Ga and I have a 2021 750 brute force. We should go ride sometime
Would love to ride the Brute on some mountain roads. Durhamtown is about an hour from me but some mountain trails would be the ultimate in my opinion
@@erocgr00t6 I like durhamtown. You ever Been to iron mountain atv resort in Dahlonega
@@stevenwillard8960 I have not. Is it open year around?
@@erocgr00t6 yea it is open year round. Only thing I don’t like about it is the trails aren’t marked as good as durhamtown
I think the little fairing increases top speed little bit by lifting the air flow over my chest. I ordered mine also from Monkeybikeworld here in Brisbane. They have reliable service. Mine is banana yellow and also not exact match, but close enough. Thanks for a good video.
You can just step on the clutch to compress it then use a screw driver in the hole to keep it compressed. That compressor comes in handy for the secondary tho Edit. You really should get the gold puller. It's way better
Nice repair tip. I had no idea there was a screw there. How you liking that T Rex Racing rear rack? Does the little lock box rattle or seem pretty tight? I like T Rex stuff.
Thank you. The rack is great and YES, it rattles from time to time. Not the door but the box over time loosens. It almost like a harmonic vibration. I removed the box and installed small rubber washers and a dab of blue locktite. So far so good 🤞
@@erocgr00t6 Cool. Good tips.
Great tutorial. I had the exact same screen from the UK on my 2019. It installed great and performed excellent fir me. I'm in Florida where its flat. I picked up 2-3 mph just from losing a bit of wind resistance. They do an excellent job on the paint with this. Two things I had occur were I overtightened the clear screen screws and it splintered the screw hole. Then the small circular screw head caps like to pop off. Besides that mine performed awesome for the 6k miles I had the bike. I traded mine in like a fool for a bigger bike. Now I'm looking at getting a 2023 or 2024 just like your's. One thing that concerns me on the 5th gear model is I read on forums and watched a few You Tube videos about 2nd gear burning up and there being a grinding noise in the transmission at speeds of 35mph and up. No recalls I could find. Please share your experiences on your bike as your ownership progresses. One thing I did is add a headlight guard one top off my windscreen mounts. It helped camoflauge that gap you mentioned. I have my old bike and all it's cool accessories on my channel. The T rex Racing center stand was sweet. Excellent for all the chain adjustments you'll be doing.
That was from a batch of gears that were not heat treated correctly. I bought my monkey in June of 2023 and no problems. Quite and smooth shifting.
Glad to hear your's was not in that batch and is running well 👍@ohwell2790
WTActul! It's a 125cc dude! What wind you getting there in your part of the world at 50mph!
On a relatively calm day and on a flat asphalt I can hit 60mph. Believe it, or not
@@erocgr00t6 👏👏👏 Glad to hear it but on that rare occasion was the first thought " Damn I need a wind shield!"??
@@erocgr00t6Here in Australia freeway speed is 100km max on most parts, On favourable conditions, I keep with traffic 90 to 95km/hour cruising speed at slow lane without trashing the engine. Fairing in front and roundish large lockable carrier box behind my back makes trailing turbulence smaller, helps the engine work. Box is very useful for groceries and other stuf like locking chains, but little bit eyesore for Monkey size bike.
Fakt ist mit diesem Schild ist der komplette Charakter der Maschine hinüber!!! So einen Mist würde ich niemals verbauen einfach nur schrecklich.
Many thanks Eroc! I have these on order!
Glad it helped. It’s a pretty easy install just don’t forget the belt tension measurement
@@erocgr00t6 how much acceleration did you get back with these springs? was it a notable difference?
@@BruteforceExplorer yes. The best way to describe it is, it felt like I had better throttle response because the belt seemed grab quicker and accelerated earlier
@@erocgr00t6omG. GOT THE SPRINGS ON. THANK YOU for posting this video , my brute is a monster again

Hi, where did u buy that tank bag.
At my local dealer but it is at least 10 years old. I will try to get the name and model for you
wow, that looks really good. How effective is it at actually channeling wind away and how noisy is it ?
Thank you! It does cut some wind in the chest area but not like a fairing would, if they made one
Did it help with top speed at all?
Is getting the right deflection hard to do? Thought about doing the same to my Brute but that seems to be the part I'm most hesitant about. Thanks
It can be time consuming but the payoff is worth it
The front spring just affects tee stall speed.
Cool trails. Subbed

I worked in a casting plant that made transfer, and transmission housings for GM, and Ford. That's just the way they look when they come out of the die cast molding. Thats normal, nothing to worry about. I inspected the parts at the end of the lines.
Thanks for that info
Great video! I just ordered a winch and mounting plate for mine.... I hope the winch fits in that tiny hole! LOL!
I am sure with the new machines you can get away with the cheaper clutch puller but I would advise getting the EPI puller as I have broken one before and it is not sometthing you want to go threw or risk. But thanks for sharing I agree with you not as much info or videos on the Brute.
Hello how are you? I wanted to know how it went with the clutch kit. I am going to change the tires of my brute force to a 27 inch with the factory wheels and I wanted to know if it is really worth it. Thanks
Yes, 100% worth it in my opinion. It restores the low end torque
Got any mountain bike trails over there?❤
Not per say but its possible
Those are some very nice trails
Thank you
You go my friend..lol
Awesome!
Excellent cover! Fantastic. More!
incredible!!! His voice is perfect for the cover and you all did amazing playing those guitars
Thank you. He has brought some great material to us
Awesome ride. But the camera was giving me motion sickness lol.
My mom always said we were sitting to close to the screen when that happens 😜😂
I am going up to a 28 inch xt400 tire and they said all I need is the spring kit not the clutch weights. So next weekend I'll see how much of a difference it makes. I have the same brute force in fragment camo
I did have to remove a spacer/ washer from the secondary but it pulls like it did on the stockers. Good luck on the Brute, they’re awesome machines
Go Morgan! Julie looks like she is having a blast......lol
It was a great time
Great video. Go ahead and do the reverse light mod. It will help during night rides, and letting others know your backing up. Check out Chad Outdoors for mod. Keep posting brother! Ain't many people doing content on these legendary quads.
