Prepping Dad
Приєднався 7 лис 2020
I'm just a dad and husband that farms and preps. We have another channel for our farm you can check out too. The Faith Heart and Homestead. That one is about farming and family. This one is going to be more prepping related.
Why I don't want to go back to "normal"
I have a lot of thoughts on this one but here are two that are closest to my heart.

Why do we prep?

People who aren't in the prepping community often ask why we bother to prep. I just share a few of my reasons to prep, and discus some upcoming topics.

Fire in the farmhouse!! Don't allow this!

We almost had a fire in Haileys room last night. Don't hook up your electrical outlets this way and if they are, get it fixed! inshot.cc/share/youtube.html
Gender Reveal!

This was such a fun way to figure out the gender of the baby! looks like I dont need to do too much more shopping! All the kids are happy with the outcome, not that we expected any different :).
That happened to me on a mf35 recently and I fixed it up as you said. What I feel helps is to be a bit slow and gentle changing from first to reverse.
Yes I learned that too. Only seems to happen when I shift directions quickly.
Thanks it happens to me even now my tractor is not working it stuck in Zim some one say l must buy clutches
Yes might be that or I've read that shift rails might be worn out? Don't know what that takes to repair. Likely a replacement but would have to look into it. I know I'm going to have to.
What I do is turn down the rpm’s as low as possible. Then put the high low, shift to neutral and then engage normal gear change and then shift high low gear back to either high or low.I haven’t locked mine in years. This is to avoid the problem. I do what you did when it has locked in the past.
When I try to pry gears as I’ve seen so suggested, mine doesn’t budge. 135. there ain’t some sort of gear lock mechanism that intentionally keeps it in gear you want, is there?
good man taught the wife what to do it....its a start you have you work cut out but your never right not with a woman .....lol
Thanks
I'm willing to move towards a new and improved normal, one that looks very different from the past. But I rather die than go back to that old normal. And I'm not being hyperbolic, I really mean it.
Thanks, just happened to me. You think it`s bad to have driven it for a bit while the gear is jammed? Mine got stuck in first so I drove it up from the field to a level road in case it wouldn`t start again and I needed to winch it on my trailer.
Mine stuck in reverse and we had to drive it up the lane in reverse
Thank you. This was helpful. When I pried the gear forward it went too far. I had to move it back to neutral before the shift lever would re-engage.
Yes I got the help from a neighbor who owns a 165.
I have the same problem
yayyy a boy congrats !!!!
