Embark on a sonic journey with me! 👋 I'm Tummur, an artist exploring the realms of electronic music, passionately sculpting a unique sound characterized by deep bass vibes and rhythmic drum patterns. While harmony takes a backseat in my current musical exploration, my tracks pulsate with raw energy and infectious beats. My music defies genre boundaries, a true reflection of the fusion of my personality and diverse influences. Inspired by the groundbreaking work of Kraftwerk, the hypnotic beats of early 2000's techno, and the sample-based magic of golden era NY hip hop, I'm on a quest for sonic innovation. Though I've spent ample time with synthesizers, my recent immersion into the art of sampling adds a captivating layer to my evolving narrative. My ultimate goal? Crafting a genuine livelihood through authentic music and forming meaningful connections with you, the audience. Join me on this musical odyssey, where boundaries fade, and the magic of sound takes center stage. 🎶✨
Testing Ad’s
Last week was release week, and my video got a solid number of organic views just by sharing it with people I know. On Spotify, though, things have been a bit quieter.
This Monday, I started testing Instagram ads. Since I haven’t used Meta’s ad platform in ages, it took some time to get things running. I launched a Feed campaign to push the video to people’s feeds, but engagement wasn’t as high as I expected. It was a reality check-while the toilet performance video might work as a joke in Finland, it might not land the same way in more conservative regions. Some Facebook comments even called me a clown, which, honestly, isn’t wrong-I wanted to bring a different angle to electronic music, and in that sense, it worked.
But, running the ad has been expensive. It cost around 30 cents per 1.5-minute watch on Feed, while on Reels, a 30-second clip from the beginning of the track performed much better-just 7 cents per 95% view. That tells me something: the concept needs to match the track better.
This whole experience has been a great practice project, and it’s made me realize that my next videos need to align more closely with the music. That’s why I’ve been testing AI video tools to generate backgrounds. The plan is to film myself in front of a green screen and place AI-generated visuals behind me-because honestly, the footage quality from these tools is impressive.
At the same time, I also feel that for audience building, I need to focus more on real content from my studio-showing my music, my process, and myself. These video projects can work well for single releases, but they have to be on point. It’s all part of the journey, and I’d rather learn now with a small audience than make big mistakes in front of a large one.
🎶 Mixtape Update:
I finally had my listening session-went through all 25 tracks in one sitting and managed to cut it down to 13. Some surprises in there! It’s funny how you get attached to track titles, but listening on shuffle without seeing the names helped me remove any bias.
The final 13 tracks feel like a coherent project, but I noticed that since I had so many tracks in rotation, their stories and structures aren’t as strong as they could be. Some are already in a good place, but others need additional work.
So my next step? Write better stories behind each track and translate those into their structure-adding the right emotions so that each track represents its story better. Having this external reference point should make the final rounds of production even stronger.

Vlog wk04/2025 Release week is here! 🎉 By the time you’re watching this vlog, my new single is probably already out. This whole week has been a hustle to make the release happen, with a lot of behind-the-scenes work like: Using SEO tools to refine text and optimize visibility (check the video description for all the search terms I’ve packed in!) Building audiences on Meta’s marketing platform t...
Is Toilet Music the Next BIG Thing in Entertainment?
Переглядів 334День тому
Have you ever seen a toilet music performance? 😅 Sometimes inspiration strikes in the most unexpected places! In this live session, I take my Octatrack and creativity into the restroom for a one-of-a-kind electronic music performance. It might sound strange, but there’s a weird connection between toilet paper and music geniuses-both involve unexpected moments of inspiration! From rushing back f...
Different Approach (Vlog wk03/2025)
Переглядів 1621 день тому
Last week, I tried a different approach to vlogging. I wrote a script with the help of ChatGPT based on my notes, but since I couldn’t remember the script, I ended up editing… and I hate editing. For me, the video is done when it’s filmed, so I’ve decided to stick to my notes moving forward and avoid editing altogether. Interestingly, my content circle recently highlighted a video about authent...
Welcome to the 2025! (Vlog wk 02/2025)

Welcome to the first vlog of 2025! This week, I’m sharing how I’m setting up my workflow for a full year of social media and music content. After moving everything into my new warehouse, I’ve got lights, cameras, and a streamlined setup ready to go. I also filmed the video for my next single right here in the warehouse, uploaded my first single of the year to Spotify, and even edited the Spotif...
I'm moving!!! (Vlog 51/2024)

I'm moving... but not really! In this vlog, I share the story of relocating my music studio just 3 meters away from my house-to our warehouse. Why? My current studio setup is literally inside a bed, where I created my 'bike stories' album. While it worked, the ergonomics were terrible, and I had to stay quiet because of people sleeping in the house. Now, with a new studio table I built, I'm mov...

TAiM Daily's Week 49 / 2021 This week was my last stream week for this year (2021). I like to do these things but I also need to step away to get some perspective and to take this thing forward. This week I didn't develop the set but instead went through the different variations of the set from this fall. I also changed the approach to writing of these track and this change affected the structu...

This reminded me of Clown Core. If you don't know them, I really recommend their sound. They have a whole album made in a porta-potty lmao Also, nice performance

Moikka.
haha I often think "will this be the first track I won't finish in a week?" also. Each week so far I had these moments of doubts, mostly being afraid of not finishing it, though I used advanced sketches till last week. this week's the first I do from scratch, even more pressure, but I think it's going on well. ps : better if you put the before the link so it's clickable.
Thanks Gelivan. I'll check the link(s). Doubt is indeed always present but one needs to learn to live with it.
