Savage Grapplavine looked more like the boss from Drakenvale in FF5.
MERRY CHRISTMAS! / HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!
Manipulated Bruiser would fit in well in Dark Souls 2. Sweatstains...everywhere.
Morley! It's just Dark Souls!
Val's really showing off that E intellect. And I laughed at Daelopho's "motivation".
If Duran has an E in Intellect, I'm sure Val would as well. They're practically the same character.
Battle towers are better than the alternative: the ones in 4 Heroes of Light.
“Don’t let my trust issues get in your way, guys” 😂
I remember hearing about the stairs leading up to the Anor Londo cathedral being an issue in QA. More complicated that I realized, to be sure. "It's just Dark Souls"! Ha ha.
I was going to quote Relm and Strago, then it occurred to me that Careena and Shiriu probably don't have that kind of relationship.
That felt more like Castle Cainhurst.
The hell, Faerie?
@@big_red01027 Faerie has been mildly sinister this whole game, I still don't trust her!
@@KHitsuga Better than Navi, I guess. That Lumina, though....
A number of things in this game have reminded me of Dragon Quest XI. This place makes that game's Royal Library look like child's play.
Palamena's Shade Sight outfit is pretty meh.
How long will that study of Julei's sample take? About 120 years?
Daelophos looks like Broly and talks like Caius Ballad. Him being "evil" is less than no surprise.
Val became Dark Souls; Morley became Himura Kenshin. Massive win for Morley.
A filthy looter of Filthy Lucre...well played.
Passar is the voice of reason. Lord help us.
looks fun. have not had time to play it yet.
The power of wood surges within you... That's going to be my new finishing line with wife.
Illusion of ...TIME?! Nah, that can't be it.
"The sea is always right"!
Ball-bustingly difficult RPG on the SNES? I believe we call that _The 7th Saga_
phew. thought we lost you!
@@JB-zp1xt nope, just a scheduling error XD
and Ayla MUST steal the Fire absorbing armor off of this boss ie NEVER fight Son of Sun in 2300 AD WITHOUT IT.
Lucca SUCKS while using Frog and Ayla's SLURP kiss 2x tech IT SHOULD heal all party members for 999 HP EVERY turn equip Robo's 9999 Critical hits only weapon and have HIM ATTACK every turn UNTIL the 9999 damage KILLS IT 4 uses later since it only has like 36,000 HP. BUT the FIRST 9999 Damage MUST be DONE immediately else the CURSE attack it uses wil make it so that when it counters with its damage + full party confusion effect the entire party will be confused EVERY TURN since Curse REMOVES the status protection OF the Prism Helms/Master Crowns so you need to do 9999 damage IMMEDIATELY before curse is used.
The additional cutscene that shows the fall of Guardia of not in the Steam version. It's only in the DS version, along with the music box, bestiary, found treasure locations, and monster raising minigame.
@@steve_yu just one more reason to not recommend the Steam version XD
@@KHitsugaBut it's the only legal way to get the game in an affordable price these days 😂
You mean the PS1 version Chrono trigger never HAD a GBA version just SNES PS1 Steam and the DS remake only + playing the PS1 version of CT on the PS2/PS3 using the Physical PS1 disc ie FF Chronicles but the PS1 version of Chrono Trigger via the FF chronicles disc has long MENU loading times OUT of battle.
@@veghesther3204Sorry, I meant the DS version, which wasn't a remake (you might be thinking of FF4).
GG!
Very nice gameplay! keep going <3 🙃
Bring it home!
GG! Everytime I replay this game it always makes me so happy how well its held through these past 30 years. It's widely considered the #1 jrpg for a reason.
The rusted blade! ahh what does it dooo?
I'm not that into retro games, but I hope you find your audience, man. Good luck!
That mountain is terrible. The terribleness of the bonus content shows how tight the original game was, and how you didn't feel you were backtracking too much.
The gauntlet against Lavos is the best fight in the game
I can tell from your title that you're a master of karate and friendship.
That trial is one "shell" of a time
Something that could be interesting to learn how to do is a “previously on” segment. It would mean learning how to edit. However, a slightly desaturated 8-10 second “previously on” that focused on the most important things and how the previous episode ended would be fun to see. You don’t have to. Just a suggestion. I don’t know what you do outside of recording these, but learning how do some simple editing outside of when you record might be beneficial in the future. Enjoyed the energy in the video. Keep it up bro.
I would honestly love to do edits, more stylized recaps, and fun visual gags, but since I do work a full time job, and also run more than one game of D&D, as well as play in more still, I've never been able to make the time for learning it, let alone the extra 1-2 hours of editing a day it would take to add such to a daily upload. Still, appreciate your feedback. Love to hear from viewers, and you've been nothing but constructive! Thanks a bunch!
I got recommended your #39 Chrono trigger video and enjoyed your voicing of the Text dialogue. The battles seem quite empty to be honest. Though I think if you put in the same energy you put into reading text dialogue, it cold work. Maybe to more energy or commentary into them. Mentioning the moves you are thinking of doing, voicing the move names in the voice of the character(s) who do the move or combos, or mention the strategy your going for. Or just like improv lines the character could say in response to what the opposing people are doing to in the fight(which you have done before just only as yourself which is perfectly fine). This will obviously take take time and practicing will help, but I think it could elevate your content. This is a personal preference, but you could make you camera slightly bigger. I think you made it this size to not obscure things on the screen, which makes sense. If you were to make it bigger, you could put it in the top right corner because of you were to put it in the left corner it would block some dialogue, information, etc. I think you have potential man. Keep up the good work. Don’t feel like you shouldn’t commit with voice lines, you got it. Go full out if you want to. It might be even better if you do. Good Luck man.
Keep it up buddy, good commentary
The climb up the mountain is crazy
I have been excitedly waiting for Ayla XD Who's name I've been apparently saying wrong all this time, I thought it was eye-la. But I also pronounced Marle as Marley, so
'Time is a weird soup' cracked me up. As always fantastic voice acting!
So the Rick Astley comparison. Twice in my life I've pirated a piece of media, and had to stop playing/watching because I had to go check that the copy hadn't been tampered with. The first of those times was Robo's theme, it sounded so similar to me I was temporarily convinced that someone uploaded a fake emulation of the game that was correct for the first several hours, and rick rolled the player with a remix. I know that sounds ridiculous but I was even more paranoid at the time xD
Now I'll forever wonder what your dying exposition will be
Reminder to get that chest!!! I feel like I got it when I played but I can't remember xD
I never ended up playing much Robo. I just loved the other characters more I guess
It's that time...
Under the sea... under the sea
