Two things I love more than anything Doctor Who and vampires.

Something to ponder on the sands of time before and ahead is that its not kept in a glass its more like a desert. There's allsorts that is hidden and revealed with the changing winds. Though ultimately the most impressive features may be the castles that are fictions... For we are the grains inwhich fills this desert, history or time in the first place. Hiding, Showing and Gathering in all sorts of shapes and sizes.

8/10 is far too generous for the utter disappointment that Empire Of Death Was. All that hype and just to reveal Ruby's mom was absolutely no one. Not to mention, the whole the death of death is life nonsense

I like Horror of Fang Rock

One of my favourite stories. The restrictions placed on the production team prove to be to the serials benefit. It could have gone the other way, but it's a testament to the shws production team in this era that it doesnt. The story was a last-minute replacement for another script but you'd never guess it from.thw well written characters who have enough depth that they are all individuals even on the page. The fact that they had to use Pebble Mill studios instead of the usual facilities at TV centre doesn't course any issue, and the set design looks great. Yes the actual Rutan creature isnt brilliant by modern standards but its not bad for the era. They cheat the spaceship as we only see a glow but by that point you're invested and its almost over

I say this story was not too bad, but it was a shame in billions of ways that Harry Sullivan and John Benton were sadly written out of classic Dr Who for good and the location filming was awesome in billions of ways. I liked the Androids controlled by the Kraals who never reappeared in classic Dr Who, I also learnt that Ian Marter Harry hated this story and he hated his departure from the series and also he would have liked Harry to be bumped off trying to save Sarah Jane.
