Regardless of noise, the hp is no joke.
you got soft hands, brother
Great video, i have 2020 all wheel drive compass, but it's a diesel, anyhow, I have a question, is it safe to jack the rear side on the rear differential?
I want the silver bullet ‼️🔥🔥🔥🔥
What is the exact amount of oil
The owner’s manual calls for 5.9 quarts… What I usually do is drain the oil and while it draining I change out the oil filter and check/fill all the fluids up top and tire pressure check/add if needed… I usually buy a 5 quart jug and a quart… now I will start with about 4.5 quarts from the 5 quart jug, button everything up and start the engine, check for oil pressure then shut it down and recheck after about 10 minutes… I usually have to add a little more but very rarely do I add more than 5 quarts… if you let it drain for say a half hour you maybe closer to 5.2 quarts but it will never take the nearly 6 quarts the manual calls for… it’s easier to add a little vs having to drain some out which I have had to do… hope this helps? Just take your time!! Thanks for watching!!
Will doing this affect my key auto start, my factory auxiliary switches, etc...?
This does not affect or change anything… the AUX battery is only used to power accessories when the engine shuts down on its stop/start cycle…
@jlautomotive6349 thank you, so far so good 👍🏻
Every 10k is good
If you dish out the $$ for quality oil, if not then 5k (3yr lube tech)
Look, i like the sound but just swap it into a sports car at that point
90.000
If you don’t remove the plunger closest to the fender under the hood the ess system will still work and destroy your main battery right away.
You don’t need to remove that plunger… I’ve had mine deleted the way I show for 2 years and have had zero issues
@@jlautomotive6349 you need to if you want the stop start to never function without hitting the button every time
Ha I did this on my 18 JL. Auto start stop still works, battery issue went away though.
Yes the stop/start will still work as the main battery is what starts the vehicle… the AUX battery is only there to run things when the vehicle shuts down at a stop. That’s why you can delete it and it changes nothing, I just wouldn’t use it and shut that button off each and every key cycle! Thanks for watching!!
Thank you very much sir for the step by step! Having a 10mm socket was a pain in the cake to find so I bent that pizza ship upward to take that cover out. I use a K&N and call it a day they're good for up to 25k miles and you can clean the filter then put that sucker back in.
If they do it .hopefully it will have a better unibody for the New England winters were the original Element unibodies rust out to soon !
Well, doesn't this disable the stuff that gets powered by the aux Battery such as UConnect? I think I did this and no Uconnect on my radio. It wasn't even available. So, the question is, couldn't you disconnect the aux ground. And on the power strip connect N1 and N2 together. Thus giving power with the main battery to send power to where the aux battery was supposed to? Since N1 is the positive for the Aux and N2 is the positive for the main. Anyone follow what I'm saying?
I follow… but the AUX battery’s job is to power stuff while the vehicle is shut down during stop/start… that’s why if your running your heat in the winter or the a/c in the summer it won’t always shut down. I do not have the Uconnect screen in my jeep but mine has been deleted for 2 years with no problems… You do not “need” the AUX battery, but you do need to turn off the dash button every key cycle… The people I converse with that have an issue doing this are people who also run a programmer like a Tazer… hope this helps…
Where do you get the 34k and change price? Lol
Sounds like the diesel inline engine.
Will this put on any warning lights ?
No, just isolates the AUX battery from the system… if left the AUX will kill the main battery. There is nothing negative from deleting the AUX
Thank you for this video it was so easy to understand 👍🏼👍🏼
You are very welcome, thanks for watching!
Nice, if you want a two door with 2.7 engine this is it.
awesome video love love love love my 2022 jeep gladiator i use pennzoil
I’ve actually switched to Valvoline’s new Protect oil and am very pleased with how quiet the motor seems… glad you enjoyed and thanks for watching!!
So I did everything in the video. Jeep starts up perfectly fine, showing voltage at 14.1. But I'm still getting the error messages. The "A!" and the "start/stop service unavailable". Does this eventually go away?
Mine comes on still from time to time… it’s an error in the system which is why you want to delete it. Technically the stop/start will work if you don’t shut off the button but it will just use the main. The only way to “permanently” disable the system is to use Tazer… but I prefer this way as it’s essentially free. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!!
@@jlautomotive6349 yeah my main concern is the aux draining the main battery. This should prevent that, correct?
Yes this delete removes the possibility of the AUX draining the main… I have had mine deleted for 2 years with no issues! Also if/when you upgrade your main battery, get an AGM battery!!
@@jlautomotive6349 perfect will do! I plan on doing the main battery soon. Where do you get your batteries?
My AUX is the OE but deleted so it’s just in there but dead at this point… My main is actually an AGM Motorcraft (Ford) battery with a slightly higher CCA for winter duty as I live in NH
Ended up buying it. Didn’t care for the mopar edition badge. I know it nothing special about this edition. I wanted a black rubicon. Looking for $55k-60k price range at the end of the year discount for a rubicon. Only the black rubicon color within 35 miles of how far I’ll go.
My 2023 TRX sounds better
Very thorough and clear audio/visual. Thanks! Going to change my girl’s filter this week.
Thank you and thanks for watching!!
sound like my kia rio 1.6
This is gimmicky and in light of the fact that it appears to offer nothing beyond what a nicely optioned non-Stroppe version offers, I just don’t really see the allure. The paint scheme is cool and I personally think its beautiful but it wont appeal to most buyers. This is just another nicely-optioned Bronco with cool paint and some exclusive decals and stickers. Think I’ll pass but if they put a 5.0 in here I will definitely reconsider.
I agree 100%… the idea is cool but extra money for stickers and paint… this isn’t a Porsche… Thanks for watching!
This should have won the international market if they make it to a bit smaller
Not much. Really bad paint combo for MOST BUYERS!! Should have kept the Wildtrak as they sold very well
I agree but being a throw back that’s how Bill Stroppee painted his broncos… Thanks for watching!!
Man, why don’t you guys make it with the bad boy V-8 in it if you wanna go back to nostalgia
I agree 100% but I don’t see ford doing that anytime soon as they are all about the ecoboost engine!! Thanks for watching!!
@ I hear you, but my father raised with Ernie Irvin’s dad, and quit racing when I was a baby because the pressure from my mom, but still, he maintained an automotive shop and we were big into Rod V8, And also growing up in the air of the 60s and 70s, the v8 to my ears So it’s still nice to dream
Would be great to know the size of the sockets used and the direction you loosened the pan bolt because of those previous idiot mechanics that used power tools to tighten it so tight it doesn't want to give.
In the first minute I show all the sockets needed… as for your drain pan bolt if you can’t get it off you’ll need to replace the pan as you don’t want to play the game of is it sealed… never use power tools doing an oil change. Almost all of my videos I use hand tools as that’s what most DIYers have at home. Thanks for watching!!
the 392 is great but I disagree with you about the hybrid versions. They sold a lot of them
Just number 3 unlocks all doors
Pricing themselves out of the market
I bought a new 2015 Ram 2500 6.4 Hemi. 4x4 35000 OTD. Prices are insane!!!
Despite all the hate this truck is getting I believe it will sell wish we could afford one
Most of the hate is price tag related… they are incredible vehicles but the starting price is simply staggering… Thanks for watching!!
@jlautomotive6349 I've been saying for years that Ford need to do something with their marketing strategy🙍🏿♂️🤦🏿♂️ I even left that on their page which I am subscribed to 🤷🏿♂️
Thanks for all the info , helps me alot to do the work on my compass
My dream Plug in hybrid SUV with the ability of 500+miles range. I like the Tesla kind of marketing and I'm in.... Sorry Ford ur dealers are too greedy!
Well said! Thanks for watching!!
Great video. Thanks
I'm so disappointed
So you just have to towel dry it to stop water marks. Or drive at high speed so the wind blows everything off, but if you're a woosse you can buy a hair dryer! 😂😂
I will use my air compressor or my leaf blower from time to time to get that initial water off followed by my drying towel… Thanks for watching!!
Deleting the aux battery is a bad idea because it stores all your memory and can also cause you to have bigger problems with all the computers for the vehicle
Non of this is true… all your functions are through the main battery including all the computer systems and components! My AUX has been deleted for 2 years and is completely dead (I’ve checked it) and the Jeep still operates 100% normal and runs at 14.2V daily…
This doesn’t work
What year jeep wrangler/gladiator do you have?? Also you need to keep in mind that even though you delete the AUX battery from the system you still need to shut off the button on the dash each key cycle… Also if you haven’t yet I would suggest upgrading your main to an AGM battery as they last longer!
All jeeps? I got a 2017!
I made this specifically for my Gladiator, I’m not sure how the Weanglers are wired…
@ thanks buddy!
So this is what it feels like to be excited about a car again! Can't wait.
Absolutely!! My only concern is VW being the brains of the operation…
Socket size?
Sorry, 1/2” socket… lol
Is that full?
It’s up to the full line, which is where the plastic bottle is molded together!
I'll keep my hemi. That thing sounds like a fart.
I won't lie it sounds like a tuner car but the thing is nasty fucking fast for a stock engine. My new company truck has this motor and it's impressive power for sure.
They just make little things like this harder every single year. All 3 of my other vehicles have tabs on the glovebox that you just push in on the sides and remove. Having to take out all these screws is just added time to prevent people with zero experience to take it to the dealer. Luckily I'm not one of those people yet I still came here to save the headache. Thank you for making this video
You’re welcome and thanks for watching!
I did all this but for some reason it still works and I have to manually turn it off with the button any one knows why?
As a GM guy...Ford has the right idea. Watch and see these not sell like a V8. Idc how much electronic bs you have thats bound to go wrong anyways. Good luck😂😂
