Http://us.wella.professionalstore.com Hey everyone! I’ve been getting a LOT of questions about my hair growth with finasteride. But I also wanted to share with you other great products I use daily to keep my scalp fresh, clean, and stimulated. Nioxin products have been my go to since 2015. Great brand, professional, affordable, and number 1 leading hair care line for thinning hair. Enjoy !

What about on grey hair? Would you need to use more of a natural base plus tone?
@@thebabygurlxlove well in that situation you need to pick what more important, getting the hair light? Or getting the grays covered. If someone has a significant amount of grey, you might want to your typical grey coverage formulation at a light level. If someone had 25% grey hair, yes I would add neutral high lift tone
And if ig only lifts and never tones? I left it on my hair 1:30 hr and it inly looked toned orangey. Lucky me it matched the other part
Would this work the same way , with 100% grey and wanting to go a copper / red / strawberry blonde !!! Hot roots got me intimidated!!!!
@@lydiasusi6412 for reds in that situation I’d recommend a 50 : 50 split with neutral and the target color.
thank you for this super informative video!! would this same theory work on dyed red hair that is a level 5?
@@rzzdxx color can’t lift through color. So unfortunately it’s not recommended to do this on dyed hair
1:15 This gay thing white guys do where they randomly jolt and say “Yeah!” And raise they eyebrows in a submissive way really is the ultimate 🤮
That's some of the best results Iv seen You must have been buzzing
I want to color my hair with high lift color but I was wondering if I should or could break my base prior to coloring it to ensure that I get the lift that I want. Is it possible to do that? Is that a good idea?
@@SusanneSartorio I wouldn’t bother, high lift with will life up to 5 levels on its own.
That was very very interesting and helpful thank you to you !!!
That was wonderful and if there were a result on someone would be much more wonderful!
Definitely a great teacher, as someone that gets very overwhelmed with the different pigments. Your explanation has actuakky sank in 💯👌✌️🫶
@@lisamxx7532 glad to help
Thanks❤
How is it going to this day? Completely thick and healthy?
Girl, I am living for your channel. Do you think a high lift would work for me? I have fine and curly level 5-6 hair with 30% grey.
@@jenxsj3902 yay! So glad to have a fan! Yea that would be a great option, just make sure to put in some 12/0 for grey coverage
Where might I get a color chart binder like yours for wella? 😮 I'm wanting to go the koleston special blonde route

Hi Angelo. I was wondering how your finding the longevity of this product. Is it lasting 4-6 wks or does it tend to fade faster? Thanks!
@@HairByGina_S I haven’t noticed it fading any faster than Koleston perfect classic. And I’ve been using it for 7-8 months now on my clients
Is the K Xpress levels of color calibrated to match the Kolestone Perfect line? (The swatches in Cosmoprof for a level 7 xpress was slightly lighter than KP. What do u think? Also please compare the fadage against KP. Does it fade to any freaky colors, does it fade faster?
@@maryannakana2577 hi! So yes, if used CORRECTLY, everything should reflect the same way. I think the lighterness is by not remixing every 10 minutes, or not understanding that 4/ is different than 4/0. -/ is natural so just a touch warmer than -/0 which is neutral. So maybe that’s a reason it looks “lighter”. Utilize the ash shades to adjust your formulas. As far as fading. I haven’t experienced anything unusual, and I’ve been using since January of 2024. Haven’t needed to refresh anything in any abnormal way. It really is just FAST grey coverage. It sticks the same, covers the same, etc. Just in 10 minutes
this was the most helpful video ive ever watched regarding lifting.
@@ashleyherndon3862 glad to help!
Thank you so so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hey Angelo thank you so much for your finasteride reviews. I’m new to your channel. Could you do a new finasteride update 🙏🏽.
has anyone tried this on level 3/4?
@@karolinakitanovska8493 on dark levels I would add special mix additives

Great teaching! Thank you
You have explained hair colors in amazing way. I have been to 5 stylists and watched numerous videos for the last month and none of them explain like you. ❤ I do have a question. My overall hair is at a 7 already. I dyed all my hair. What do you suggest for my formula to get to a 10? My hair does not like bleach so Hi-lift is working just a slow process cuz I had black dyed hair. Please help
Now it makes sense. You are awesome at explaining color theory. You sound like a great teacher/mentor. So the result of this formula would be a level 9 neutral/natural blonde. Is that correct?.
Yep 8-9 depending on texture and melanin
does this trick works on level 3/4 ?
can you do a finasteride update?
Absolutely!
Love your info, thank you! Especially the 1:1 tip - makes sooo much sense!
Thank you 😊 this is very informative.
Now I understand why I got my hair blue instead of blonde 🫠🫠🫠
Thank you for explaining the formulating process! Please do more of these educational videos. You’re a great teacher. 👏👏👏
Thank you
How do you close your cuticle so your hair is shiny again?
Acid based hair products. I’d recommend color post treatment after coloring followed up with a hair mask.
@@angeloterracciano8222 thank you 🙂, any particular hair mask you'd recommend?
This result just by using finasteride or with minoxidill too
Just Finasteride. However as I mentioned in this video I do have hair extensions in.
Can you comb it thru?
Yes, just remember you need to get the color on the head FAST!
Thank you, this video was incredibly informative!
😊
WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL MY LIFE!!!! Ii'm going to try this tonight!
😊
Angelo more color formulation tutorials please!!!! Thanks
I have tried everything to eliminate the warmth when going lighter and never with any success, even adding corrective blue and green and when I rinse and style it is still reddish orange. Can the brand of color I use be inferior or what can I try and do differently?
Angelo, you are the best!! Thank you❤
You’re welcome 😊
Great informative
4 Years since you did this clip. Are you still on finasteride
Yes, been on it since 2018
You are such a good teacher!!
Thank you! 😊
If you're adding green into the formula where you also have blonde hair, how is that going to turn out? We didn't see a sample, but I can imagine that the green hitting that blonde hair is going to make it look pretty interesting....? Do you have a follow-up video where you actually did this?
5:11 There is actually no time limit on how long you can take Finasteride. There are tons of people who have been taking it for decades. In some rare cases supposedly it can lose effectiveness over a long period of time. Guys who have this problem sometimes add in Dutasteride once a week or even switch over to Dutasteride, which is like a stronger 5AR inhibitor.
Good to know!
Hello Angelo, great results there! If you can please disclose the daily dosage you were prescribed for those first 6 months. Thank you.
1mg daily sine 2018. Currently on the same dose
Thank you for your reply.@@angeloterracciano8222
Im slowly leaning more into trying this after getting scared from potential side effects outweighing me looking at my thinning/receding hair each day
Yo just do it. Side effects, if they happen, go away once you stop using the drug. If your hair follicles die then there are lost cause. Talk to a dr, make you best judgement. But this is a life changer
Hello Sir. Im from Philippines and most of our hair color hair is dark black or level 1 or 2 ... how can I lift the color without using bleach ? how can I sir correct my method of hair coloring... Promise your videos help ne alot but still need to learn properly from someone who is very educated about hair coloring.. ThaNk you so much.
Hair color can lighten natural hair up to 3 levels without using bleach. You could probably get to a level 5 maybe 6 without bleaching.
@@angeloterracciano8222 thank you so much sir... Sir if your not busy and if im not bothering alot.. I hope you could make a vids .regarding asian hair... a lvl 7 hair color with a regrowth hair lvl 2. then how to make this two hair color beautiful into ash or brown fairly .. please sir.. thank you in advance..
im just new to your channel.. I would like to ask if you dont mind sir.. Should I mix all the 3part of colorant or should I apply them seperately?? Thank You In advance sir
All in the same bowl
@@angeloterracciano8222 Thank you so much .... Im really enjoying your vids sir.
hey ,could u please explain how did u know the ratio of each dye i'm kinda lost in there❤
Absolutely! So the strongest color you’re fighting is red so that’s why we add predominantly green, then there’s orange, so the blue ash, and then finally the yellow, so the violet. In the work of warm colors, red’s “darker” than yellow and orange in between. So to fight it, mostly green then some blue and lastly violet. Does that make sense?
