If only born males & females knew we function either.. Masculine=logic, analytic, thinking & mind. Or Feminine=Heart intuition, or guided by & process emotions/feels. Also it’s worth saying too these extra added on satan inspired genders not male or female, is where gender confusing starts not knowing the above, also if a soul is in denial, or in delusion & avoiding their sexuality truth.

I was born in and brought up in a foreign culture - Thailand. I'm an MK (missionary kid) and considered a third culture kid. I don't have ADHD or Autism, however, always feel very different with different thought processes. Throughout my younger years, I constantly gravitated to making friends from different countries only. Does this mean I'm neurodivergent?

Does any of this sound familiar to you? Sometimes I hear running water as music, sometimes different wavelengths of light sound different. When the never ending buzz in my head changes frequency, I feel the tingling in my body also change. It’s sort of like a feeling of something sliding out from under me. There is always something. In my world; the sound of silence is indeed “the roar of silence” None of this bothers me, it’s just the way it’s always been. In my youth I was surprised to discover it’s not that way for everyone. One of my elders explained it to me by saying “if from birth we hit you in the head every morning with a ball peen hammer, the day we stopped doing it; you’d think there was something wrong” Maybe that’s what they did. It’s an old expression “we learn to live with what we can’t rise above”

Neural diversity is a coin term and thrown around and is an invention used by psychiatrists to explain people who look weird and dress weird (no offense). I all truth, all human beings are unique and diverse and all brains have their own perceptions of the world. Most people get their perceptions from social conditioning while others think outside the societal systems. Both are human!! My theory is and I highly believe it is that Asperger's is just another label and invention to label people who look different and because these people look and dress different and many believe they are unattractive, they choose to live out and Believe in those views which are also socially conditioned. If you believe you are weird, you will act like it. If you believe you are normal, you will act like it. If you believe you are confident, you will be confident. If you believe your weak, you will be a people pleaser. It's all about ones beliefs and perspectives!! The more that I'm coming to find myself and grow Spiritual and emotionally the more I'm learning that Asperger's and anxiety and OCD or bipolar is just another lie we believe in because the doctors told us so. The more I grow the more I realize that man's main problem is that he thinks too much. The mind is the root cause of all human suffering. If we had no mind there would be no suffering!! Meditation and Mindfulness frees you!! We don't have to believe our minds or or believe in all the noise and Stories that go on in our minds because they are not real and basically just dreams.

We think different... That puts it mildly? It is my xperience that what our brains are capable of, represents the beta version of the complete overhauling of the human CPU and BIOS. Time and again I clash with workers in public utillities. Always because of a typical defensive attitude that gets the lead in the way a serviceprovider behaves him/herself to me when we are engaging into the mutual investigative phase of a validation assessment to determin weather we meet each other's criteria for engaging in a mutual benificial interaction.

Good Discussion...i follow both of u and found each point valid...I feel Parents and everyone else dealing with disabled children need to be sensitized and educated so that our children can get acceptance and better care ...invisible disability are not even considered significant in our country...aditi was talking about UDID...we kept trying to get a certificate of disability for almost 2 yrs and we were forced to run from pillar to post and finally we gave up as we had to relocate...I had horrible stories from those 2 yrs... we moved to the UK last year...here as well still waiting for EHCP to get support in school...I wish the Neurodivergent Adults could talk to Parents of younger Neurodivergent children...will be so helpful...instead of them just crying and being hopeless for their kids

Sarah and Kenrick, I wonder if you have what I have which is "Broad Autism Phenotype". It is just off the spectrum but has many of the characteristics just milder. My kids are high functioning autistic or Aspbergers and I was tested and diagnosed with Broad Autism phenotype and add inattentive which shows up differently in adult women. You are not alone ladies. I was 52 when I was finally diagnosed.

@@kenrickbautista6141 I am sorry for saying ladies. I should have checked the names a little more. The fact that it shows up differently in adult women doesn't mean that it couldn't also be affecting you. And the broad autism phenotype is not gender-specific. There's a lot of overlap in anxiety, ADHD, autism, and OCD. They often get diagnosed for each other. Keep advocating for yourself until you feel you've got the diagnosis that's the best fit for you. I personally think diagnosis can be important because then we can get the right treatments and we can find the right people to support us because they understand.

@@weedandwildflowers Thank you for the kind teaching moment!!! Broad Autism Phenotype -- and Neurodivergent ...more research projects!! (been away from therapy a long time). --> From a 73 yo woman diagnosed w/simple depression in my 30's by a very narrow-minded doctor. I went on to other doctor(S) until (high-functioning) Aspergers was finally called ...but not until my late 50s. [ Such a waste of a Life ]. Unfortunately, my "dear family" refused to let me "out of the box they had put me in". It was more comfortable & convenient to continue calling me the Family "TROUBLEmaker" than to accept my diagnosis. So, no support & no growth. Just their ongoing arrogant mindset from which I more & more often would simply distance myself. HEAVY (LONELY) S I G H .... I am comforted, these days, tho, knowing that mental health issues are publically discussed,& hopefully, others like me will not have such wasted, frustrating lives ... "I could'a been a contender..." !!!!!!!! Anyway, as we said in the 60s... KEEP ON KEEPING ON!! and KEEP THE FAITH, BABY!!!
