This is a good book. Jericho’s mom needed to step back and let her adult sons work it out instead of pushing Jericho into doing her will. Sometimes families cannot be fix after a betrayal like that.

To read this book and to discover it's based on truth at the end. Amazing great author.

Therapists, even those with doctorates, don't bring in the kind of income Chad had to leave to his family. He also contributed to putting 4 children through college. And how much of his income went towards a house with a pool & a landscaper?

What an amazing book! The story in this book hit my heart 😢. I can’t believe what that young girl went through. I loved this story it was very well written and the narrator gave it so much emotion. Thank for sharing ❤ liked the way it started by explaining the past and coming into the future. If you expect sexual scenes this is not the book for you.

Ok - so I sped up the playback speed and it is much better. I recommend that for anyone having a hard time listening to it.

This is seriously a boring beginning of a book. I'm 44 minutes in and I just want to stop listening. There was about 2 minutes of interesting things going on, but all the rest has been character history and backstory... I keep wondering when this story is going to start...

Good story but I really didn’t care for taking God name in vain.

I really enjoyed listening to this book. When I found my Birth Mom in 1982 a similar situation of finding relatives happened as in this book. It took my Mom a couple months to start telling the family about me. She has just turned 18 when I was born and none of her 9 siblings even knew she had been pregnant. She had been sent away to a maternity home in another state and she spent 7 months there until i was born and given up. My family=our family was very receptive and it was a great reunion. First Mom wanted to tell the other three children. Making my brother out numbered by yet another sister added to the two he already had. Not too long after that I was able to locate my step dads daughter from his marriage before he married my Mom. Once again my Mom talked to the other three kids making my poor brother out numbered by yet another sister =4 to one. A couple years later my mom had to call my brother about another kind of serious matter and my Brother did not even let her get started in what she had to say. Recognizing the serious tone to her voice he broke in saying." O NO! Mom Not Another Sister".. Nope it was something else.
