Just found this video after getting into GGST and also settling on Axl as my favorite character and main. I fell in love with him as a character the moment I saw his walk cycle and heard his theme, and watching Strive's story and looking up Axl's story moments from previous games just sealed the deal for me. I wish characters like Axl were more popular in modern media, i.e. characters who are good for the sake of being good despite stuff that happens to them. We get a lot of antiheroes and morally ambiguous heroes, so it's refreshing to see characters like Axl.

ill be so fr, axl low helped me through some things. love this guy. great character, great design, great backstory. definitely on the top of my "comfort character" list. not even kidding, ive had bouts of mental anguish and thought about Axl and just felt a lot better.

Great video going back memory lane man! But as a long time old school (Pot) player I'll talk about Jitter clicking real quick. I'm not sure where it first originated from, but. I think its from OCN, Overcast Network, one of the first more competitive MC servers (Danteh still has some old videos on it). Where people would do these quick bridge builds whilst jumping. Clicking fast worked wonders there. Whilst that would be on the right mouse button, people quickly figured out that clicking very fast on the left button would make you better at pvp. Maybe this also had something to do with some of these cheaper 2014 gaming mouses having a double click button. But Im 100% sure this was at first mostly done by pot players on early Badlion, ShotbowHCF, Kohi, and by Soup players on MCteams. And later adopted by SG players, considering the nature of pot and soup it's more important there, then in SG. None is known for 'figuring out' Jitter clicking as far as I know. Some early adopters were people like ComboDombo, SwaggingSheep and Stimpy maybe @DJThreadMC knows more about this. Also Ive spoken to hundreds if not thousands of people who jitter clicked every day for years and i've not heard one single case of somebody having problems with their arm because of it. Doubt its really thing, its just spassing a muscle, if anything it could make you gain a little bit of strength lol. When I was playing a lot my right arm was a little bit stronger than my left arm, all though that didnt perse come from jitter clicking ;) And not to be make it too technical but very simply explained, it works because minecraft updates 20 times a second. So when clicking faster this makes it a little bit easier to get a hit the first possible next tick after the hit delay, which leads to a double hit, which is how you start a combo.

You covered some stuff I wouldn't have even thought of, no one ever talks about any of this stuff any more. Badlion and MCSG were the top servers for so long, until Hypixel came around. If anyone else frequented MCSG and Badlion, I was "ClondoXous" Also I fw the jungle music

I like AXL for a very simple reason. The first time I ever played this game at a friend's house, he asked me "who do you want to play?" And I said "I like zoners, are there any zoners in this game?" And he said "Axl is a pretty good zoner". And that was all I needed lol I tried playing Happy and Bridget too. Bridget is fine, Happy wasn't really my thing. Axl is still ny favorite tho.

Im 25 and am an OG MCgamer network enjoyer also was a Moderator on roxbot for a short period, genuienly missed this so much Ive decided to recreate a server mimicking SG on a very small scale. Thanks for this vid. If you every want to relive MCSG dont mind giving IP for anyone wanting to run it.

The thing about being touched and moved by fictional characters is that I don't think there's anything wrong with it. We could all stand to learn to emulate our heroes from fiction. Potemkin has been a source of inspiration for me in my life when I picked up this game and now I think it's safe to say that Axl has joined him in inspiring me to be a better person.

Private packs like Frostbite, ViperBite and the huge amount of remakes of the map since the original creators weren’t giving it out due to exclusivity Blamph, the OG UA-camr Chads 120/148 player hosted games Turk Olan, something which become a meme from the vast amount of Turkish players around 2014 playing the game. SG5 glitch, the original maps made by Vareide had multiple areas where you could glitch out the map all from a block not being covered up. Particularly SG5 having a very weird “creepy” feel to the underside of the map having all the buildings copied and pasted down there creating a mini city. Build Teams, the main maps having been created by TeamElite, RedForest and Kithex LeafyGreenTea, the OG hacker on SG1 who gained popularity from the funny commentary of the first video of him hitting all 24 players at once. Noahsailer, the founder of the typical fns trick, placing it infront of you and running back to light people chasing you on fire. Skype team 123, before teamspeak people would use Skype to team in game and for main contact - OG sg player and clan member of Phoenix/TeamSypher. Played since 2012-2016/2019

Great video, brings back so many memories haha. I'll add that while soooo many reasons contributed to the downfall of MCSG (it definitely could have survived 3+ extra years putting aside all the incompetency), ultimately it was a ticking time bomb as Mojang had a different vision for what they wanted pvp to be (with 1.9+ introducing attack cooldowns), which goes completely against the identity of the SG gamemode. With no support, stuck on an forever outdated server, issues that plagued the game (i.e. cheating, no new players bc of server version) could never be resolved... its demise was inevitable. I had a good time and made so many memories :')

Goldlewis Dickinson. While Potemkin was an extremely strong guy, but being used by the old zepp empire, and decided to break free via gabriel and lead a revolution to give his country a better future Goldlewis was never a slave, never oppressed under his own government, decides to just do anything when ordered to, and will keep things the way they are because he wants to Some people when given physical strength to fight for what they believe, will simply fight for what benefits them. But others like Potemkin, will fight to uplift an entire country, and embrace the souls who were wounded from the past. that's my take, good video as always They Grey.

I also have a paranoid thing in my head! But even if you have a positive character to cheer you up and prove that there are good people in the world, eventually, all progress will be set back to the status quo because that's just how people's brains work. We can try to fight it, we can realize we're making the same mistakes over and over again, but I believe that if you can't control the voices in your head and make sure they don't force you to repeat the same mistakes over and over again, how much control do you really have? In my opinion, people, especially those like us, need to train, discipline, and practice ourselves to the point where our "natures" don't dominate our choices so badly. Because otherwise, we're really no different than fictional characters or animals, even if we want to say and prove that everything that we did had a lot of thought into it, if we make choices that prove otherwise, then we really aren't. The only thing we have control over in life is ourselves, and if we can't control ourselves, we have no control over anything. At least, this is my perspective and an ideal I STRIVE (heh) to achieve, but sometimes, when I *can't* do anything right with some things, I stop worrying after I might have an autistic shutdown/meltdown, calm down, and do whatever I want or need to get done and get it done. Sometimes, when nothing is going right, just making the things you can make right go right is all it takes for things to go right. In my opinion, that's the best anyone can do.
