Bike is a 2002 honda cb600f hornet with a danmoto slip-on. The bike is currently running at somewhere around 35kw. No traffic laws were broken in this video.
Hi, how did you depower it? There's like a kit somewhere? because i can't find it anywhere
its called cb600 35kw restrictor kit, inside this kit there is set of plate orifices. they go inside air intake tubes
Bonjour au niveau consommation avec 1 plein tu fait combien de km en bridé 34cv
2:05 Seems like MPH, the speedo is not moving... Are you 180kg or what? In that time my 1999 Hornet 600 would be around 180-200 km/h
As stated, its throttled to 35 kw.
at what height will you flatfoot it?
I’m 178cm and both my feet touch the ground with some bend in the knees
Is it worth getting a 600 as 35kW since most the power is in the high rev's and you're not getting there? Is it noticeable that I should better look for something with more power in the lower end?
Its absolutely worth it ! Yeah it maybe not the fastest one in lower rev range but so you can get to know the bike before getting the full power.
It's more than enough power
How much does she take ? ( i mean gasoline on 100km)
ile wlejesz
5-5.5 liters going highway and open roads. Around 7 if you are going on twisties, close curves etc with first and second gear only. It´s a very Economic bike, but to reach these consumption numbers you need good tyres, good pressure, chain good lubricated, expensive oil in the engine, air filter new and your weight not much than 70kg... These are MY NUMBERS.
How do you know when to fill up the tank because i think there is no indicator for low fuel in the tank but I’m not sure
When she starts bogging or backfiring, switch to reserve on the fuel valve and start planning your trip based on finding a fuel station.
Reset the km-counter every time you fill her up..
How long does the tank usually last?
@@tevztursic5149 the Tank lasts about 210 km till reserve with a fuel consumtion of around 5.5 l. I Usually refule at around 180 km. if you push the bike more it consumes about 6.3 l. But mine is currently running at 35 Kw so your milage may vary.
@@hyperspeed2815 thank you i just bought mine and now I’m getting it restricted
Damn, this bike is beautiful. Always been a fan of the CB’s. Started on a on e-storm, currently have a CBX250, was thinking about the CB400 super four, but wreckon I’ll go straight to this!
Hitto kuulostaa kyl hyvälle 😍
what is the topspeed at 35kW/
About 170-180 kmph at 8,5k rpm
omg this is so cool
Anymore honda hornet videos coming out soon
how fast can it go in 1st gear?
About 100km/h
@@isacschauman254 wait, fr?

Hey. What handle bar you have? Thank you
Dont know the make or model. But just some basic handlebar, low sweep and rise. And like 760 wide
hello can you please tell me where you got your license plate holder from or what model it is?
Hi! I’ve got a 35 Kw restricted hornet too. I’d like to know if it pops or not because mine has a roadsitalia and it doesn’t pops too much but in other videos it’s amazing. Thank you and nice video!
Thanks! It pops and bangs properly this one. But its because of the exhaust but not the restriction.
Yes, I have a LeoVince exhaust on my hornet and it pops very well
❤️👌
What exhaust is that?? Sounds so damn good. I have a 2004 Hornet that I want to sound like that.
Its a danmoto slip-on
I have a Devil exhaust on mine. Sound is great.
Since you have this bike restricted to 35 kW (intake air restriction), does it make your clothes or backpack stink to fuel?
No, why would it do that?
@@isacschauman254 due to the incorrect air fuel ratio caused by restricting the intake air to limit the power. I tonight this could be a side effect.
@@user735_ no the ratio i still correct. It takes in 50% air/fuel and and the same 50% comes out of the exhaust. Therefore only 50% of the power
@@isacschauman254 but what kind of restrictor use your bike? Does it limit the max throtle openning or limits the intake air with 4 washers in the intake manifold?
@@user735_ second option
35kw why? My 2003 Hornet is 71kw
He probably has a restrictor in it for the a2 licence
35kw?
yes 35 kw it is limited i think the stock one has 70kw
In austria you get your motocycle licence at 18 but you are only allowed to have 48 hp. After two years you can upgrade too unlimited power. Many new riders overestimated their skills and died within their first weeks of riding, so this system makes kinda sense.
Was schaffst du gedrosselt spitze? Hab an meiner ne Menge geändert und der vergleich alles orginal offen zu komplett umbau gedrosselt is etwas schwer bei der Suche nach den letzten PS

He asked what the topspeed of your bike (with 48ps)is?
Top speed on 35kw is about 170kmh
This motorcycle is superb,I had a good time,I also sent LIKE👍 I know, We are HONDA lover
Just found out as long as you have the 98-02 model hornet 600 you can have 35kw
Correct. Newer models that have over 70kw can not be restricted to 35kw.
Yesterday I bought my Hornet PC36 from 2005. It had its papers rewritten to 70kw in 2011, so I'm legally allowed to ride it at 18yo!
What is the top speed, 180 km/h ?
My bike has a little more than 35kw so mine can do 180. Most 35 kw bikes can do around 160-170.
its listed at 226 km/h top speed un restricket ofc .. makes no sense to even allow this for an A1 driver with a top speed of 180 RESTRICTED .. kinda insane
@@Ladosligese i recently removed the restrictions and when i tested the top speed it got up to 200km/h pretty easily but after that nothing teally happened. 210km/h is probably possible but i dont think my bike can go any faster than that.
Without restrictions my 1999 Hornet 600 does 235 km/h of speedo.
Hey man, what's the name of the exhaust? I have a 2004 Hornet and i have stock exhaust. I don't know where to buy a cheap exhaust.
Just look up danmoto exhaust. They have really good, cheap and loud exhausts.

so what years of the hornet 600 can i make an a2 legal 35kw is it just 2000-2002?
Im not 100% sure but i think its just the first generation (1998-2002) that you can have as 35kw. If you have e newer model it has to be 25kw.
Yeah because I looked on Wikipedia and it showed 2000-2002 was bang on 70kw 94hp
engine code PC34 only
Hey man, so how did you restrict your bike from 70 to 35 kw? Is it the exhaust system?
no, it's restricted from the throttle in order to be able to drive it with A1 license, eurpe things..
@@crisaneduardhippo7744 oh ok! I'm gonna buy one myself next month and wanted to see if I can tame it a bit cause 100 hp is a lot for a beginner rider...I'm probably gonna die on it but we're all dead anyway, right?😂
@@dimitriskatsoulis4986 haha mentally yes😹😹 now I saw in the comments other explanation for the restrict but mine was limited from the throttle, maybe there are more ways, and I meant A2 license*
@@crisaneduardhippo7744 yep got you, I'm in Europe as well. Ride safe, greetings from Greece🤗
@@crisaneduardhippo7744 i know most bikes are restricted from the throttle but mine for some reason is restricted from the carburetors. I would recommend restricting it from the throttle because thats probably cheaper and easier to remove by yourself.
35 kw or 25 kw? mine is not bridable in 35 kw it is a 2003 hornet
Well mine is 1st generation and it has 70kw on paper and therefore it can be restricted to 35kw. The second gen hornet (2003-2004) probably has a little over 70kw and because of that it can only be restricted to 25kw.
mine at 95 horsepower in full
@@davidroggo4121 yea thats like 71kw
Check the papers, if it's a hornet code PC34 it can be restricted to 35 kW.
What restriction does it have to make it a2 license bike?
So it is 70kw from the factory but 35kw restricted. There are four metal washers that go between the carburetors and the engine intake so the air/fuel mixture flow is limited, therefore only making 35kw.
@@isacschauman254 thank you man appreciate the reply as I would love a hornet for my A2 license....now time to find one lol

In the video its actually a little over 40kw or something like that. U notice the difference only around 6k rpm and up. On 35kw the power delivery is very linear.
You have a quickshifter on that or you just shift without using clutch?🤔 Btw it has beautiful sound.😍

Btw amazing bike and riding. Im saving up for a honda hornet for my a2 license in 1.5 years. Im currently riding a honda cbf125 with a danmoto exhaust as well!
You'll be impacted by the feel of the throttle. After a 125 bike, the throttle on a 600 cc feels more sensible than a 20000 dpi mouse.
@@user735_ yk that is a 500 bike in the moment bc it is limited and the original 600 hornet it has 80 kw/90 hp
What was your 0-100 time?
Just under 5 seconds. My bike however does have a little more than 35kw so on a stock 35kw bike it would be closer to 5-6 seconds.
