Any ideas would be welcome. I've tried digging up from the bottom. trenching up top, and digging digging up under the water level on the water side of the dam.

Awesome! Looks so much better!
Thanks
Put on a ditching bucket you'll be twice as fast as the tractor
Hmm idk about that
I just did a blown head gasket on HHR with bluedevel followed all the instructions and just pasted 1000 miles and no sign of sny issues.
This stuff failed. Well kinda. It ended up being the jug gasket. But it put a lot of nasty stuff throughout the motor I was cleaning out for ever lol.
[ thank, you for youre video. nice, looking dump truck. I, own a 1973, Ford F-700 361 engine. 5-spd. manuel trans. 2-spd. rear axle. air brakes]
Sadly I don’t have her anymore. I wish I would have kept it l.
Super helpful! Thanks brother!
No problem. Thanks for commenting
Great video thank you Sir
How have these bushings hold up so far? Contemplating going with them vs bobcat.
They are still going strong.
Corbin? KY?
Possibly some of them
@@thecheltonchannel5739 ok secret squirrel. Well, howdy neighbor.
@CodyV207 😂
Man you have some stones posting videos of your welds! Every “pro welder” out there is going to have something to say! It looks good to me tho man bout to weld one up to my uncles excavator that’s why I looked it up. If it looks close to as good as yours I’ll be happy!
Yea not been to much people talking smack. But hey it’s still holding. And good look with it lol. Hopefully it all goes smooth
Great video. Way better than doing it with my mini skid and bucket😂 Thanks man.
My fuse keeps blowing out has yours?
No it don’t. Hmm. Short somewhere? What amp fuse are you using
The 250v glass fuse that comes in the badland wire box
Oh hmm no I haven’t had an issue.
yep just like mine lol. she gets a little grumpy gotta plug it in around that temp. only downside to the older diesels
Right
Blue is Sky⬆️ Brown is down⬇️ Thank you sir
Are you using gas ?
With the welding?
You just convinced me me which one to buy!
How is it with cutting stainless steel like 3 inch exhaust 18 gauge
I haven’t cut any stainless steel so I’m not sure
You need a 75 degree to dump in 1 big pyle.
It needs to be taller. I can stand it all the way up and it dint have anywhere to go.
Can I please get help. I’ve watched so many videos. Do what every one says. I’ve tried two different remotes. I can’t get mine to work
You have a test light?
I watched another video where they talk about diodes being used so they don’t backfeed the power into the original remote. Idk much about electrical but might be worth looking into
Maybe but it’s been working for over a year now. And last I checked the wired one still works as well. The wired remote should be a simple switch. So if it does, which it probably does back feed it will just feed to the switch and that connection would be open so shouldn’t harm anything.
This helped a lot…. Identical to my pump and solenoid setup… I bought my trailer back in the spring and picked up one of the Amazon controllers but never got around to installing it till today. I just happened to watch this video as it was a recommended video. Hooked up the controller and everything works great … thanks for making this video… I would have figured it out but you definitely saved me a few mins
Thanks for the comment! Glad it helped.
I rewired my Z completely, lot of work but worth it. I did install a modern radio but I hardly ever listen to it because the scream of triple webers just sounds so good
Nice work
Thanks
How much do you think just the canopy weighs , NOT including the underneith frame work ?
Just the fiberglass bit? That’s hard to say now. It’s been a while since I installed it. I mean it took two people to put it on because it was so long. But I lifted it myself. So 75ish lbs maybe.
Do you have a video on the engine oil change procedure for the Bobcat E26?
No I don’t think I did one when I changed it. But I will next time for sure.
Ok thanks.
Next time the plugs freeze up like that spray a 50/50 mixture of acetone and transmission fluid on the plug .Let soak then hit the inside of the plug with a punch.never use heat on them there is a ring seal you can damage.Thats how we get stubborn plugs out works every time in the shop
@jrac863 the seal that’s on the plug?
@@thecheltonchannel5739 no there is a large o ring right in back of the cover plate. But also a large very expensive seal thats on the inside of the casing .That seal prevents your planetary oil from leaking between the fixed and rotating section of the final drive.
Awesome video buddy thanks. What would a dp21 2500 hours be worth? In good shape
Really depends on your area. And this market nowadays is wild. But one with a good undercarriage and clutch’s probably around 15-20 depending on overall shape.
@@thecheltonchannel5739 awesome thanks. It seems to be really good shape and tight.
@@thecheltonchannel5739 I can probably get it for about 14k maybe little less.
Cheaper is always better. Would be nice if they let you run it and push around some dirt to get everything warmed up.
My 7.3 has 700,000 love the motor
That’s some miles for sure.
k...your the cause of climate change..ask trudeau
Na it’s up to smog!
Love my seven three
Same. But I’ve never owned one with good plugs lol
Is soldering and welding similar ? If I can do one , can I do the other ?
There a a few similarities with making the puddle or melted metal flow and heat but. No not really. I could weld way before I knew how to solder lol. BUT with a little practice anyone can do both.
Not entirely. Soldering is like the younger brother to Welding. Both require a heat source and a metal surface. However, soldering is typically done on a much smaller scale for electronics, whereas welding is used on larger pieces to form a solid connection. In soldering, solder is introduced to create a bond between the metals; welding uses hot metal to *slightly* reform the materials being welded. Welding is used in construction and other large-scale projects, solder is used to handle minute components on a circuit board. To answer your question, if you can control a soldering iron, you can (probably) control the welds that you are making. Both are *essentially* attaching metals together using high temperatures. Hope this helps.
Never seen someone start a torch like that, never doing anything else
lol thanks. Old trick I learned from an old guy.
This is the video I needed. Mine has been cutting at a slight angle lately. I do wish the one blade guide post was longer, because you want the blade guides to be as close as possible to the material.
Good deal hope it helps. And yea I agree.
I went to adjust mine, and it's different. Instead of adjusting each roller, I have a block that the rollers bolt to. I could loosen the bolt that holds the block, twist the block, and tighten bkock.
@5:30 You can see the single bolt above the rollers I'm talking about.
@rglmotorsports2989 yea mine wouldn’t adjust far enough with that block. Still cut at an angle
Did you fix it?
That area yes 😂
Blade must be sharp and cutting rate must be not very fast.
It runs on the slowest speed and it’s usually a newer blade
Which holly carburetor is that
I think it’s a 4160 dont quote me in that. She’s a old 600cfm 4 barrel electric choke.
Nope that's a 750 that 4160 holley
I think a stock 302 would have trouble with a 750 cfm but maybe. Idk I just looked up the number stamped on the front.
Idola gua
hows finding parts for these?
There’s a dealer in my town that gets them for him. But the internet is your friend due to price. Get what you can rebuild and replace what you have to.
copy that. im looking at one up here for 8500 im used to bigger equipment and mostly CAT but i think i need a cute one@@thecheltonchannel5739
Wireless remote still working well on the dump trailer?
Yes still holding up. Seems to work as is should.
@@thecheltonchannel5739 good to hear
Thank you man! Out of the 5 videos I watched yours helped me understand how to wire it and realize how simple it is to do. It helps we have the same trailer too!
Good deal I’m glad it help!
Like you said, longer sanding block, I forget the terminology but spraying a light coat of paint then block sanding will show you low spots to help smooth it out. But also I’ve found that you will always be the biggest critic of the body work especially if it isn’t a show truck. So as long as you’re happy with it and no one else can tell, who cares?
What’s the benefit of the glass?
Lol welding rusted up aluminum! I’ve seen people try to weld sheet aluminum to steel, it’s not pretty
Yea I don’t know why I said that 😂 I caught it in the editing? I was like why? Haha
That bump at the end of the video might have been from too much heat. It was hard to tell if you were laying a bead or doing a ton of spot welds. Should be doing a ton of spot welds and bouncing around. I’ve even seen guys doing a spot weld then cooling it with a blast of air from the compressor
Yea I was spot welding but I may have still put to much heat into it. Life’s been super busy lately and I haven’t had time to get back at it. But when I do I’ll be sure to catch a video.
For some reason, UA-cam didn’t let me know you were posting videos. Now I need to catch up!
What size is your dump trailer
12x7
If you dump a lot that day, your battery will need help n hook up a booster pack to help max out the power of the pump
Thanks for this video. Just what I need. Recently picked up a 2019 7x12 12k Cam Advantage Dump second hand and have been thinking about doing similar modifications and am asking for clarification of what you did to get past your initial fitment issues on the Rear stabilizer steel. I was thinking about using 3"x1-1/2x3/16" tube for the main drop leg forward (as pin placement should force jack pivot force forward) and 1-1/2"x3/4" x11ga steel tube in rear as both a filler and possibly as a fixed wiring channel for possible addition of a stake pocket combination tail light/extenstion 12" board bracket similar to what you would see on a Sure Trac or Griffin as I sort of like that style setup and think brackets along those lines would be much more sturdy. Realize I will have some spacing issues with the tail light against the rear door upper latch which would force me to push the 2" tail light tube inboard a bit but I ought to be able to center up on the extension board bracket side of it without issue and wanted to hear your thoughts on that too. My real concern is the fitment using a full 1-1/2x3/4" channel vs your much smaller 3/4" square tube. Also interested in what you used for overall height and pin hole spacing on this as well. Appreciate any advice & specs you used you can give. Thanks.
Congratulations!!!🍻
Thank you!
Hold on! We gotta wait a few years for the kid to confirm to know for sure. 😂 Congratulations 👏
Ha yea not at this house 😂
I’m thinking about buying one of these for 10k just trying to make sure that’s a good price. It seems to be
Yea depending on % of the undercarriage. See if you can work it a bit to warm up the clutches. Main and the steers are not going to be cheap to replace.
Interest in buying one also to use on the farm. Looks better than a Deere 450c and I can move it maybe with my f350 one ton? Anything specific I should be aware of with them? Thanks in advance
Undercarriage, steering clutches and steering breaks. And I have hauled this with my 2000 F-250 7.3 several times. All she wants with my gooseneck but it did it. I think it was three hours away where he bought it. Did good on that trip.
@@jerimahjohnson8698I've ran both.. komatsu good little dozer but 450 jd quite a bit stronger.. komatsu.
