ouais mais attention aux demi-arbres de roues, ils sont fragiles comme du verre et pour les ressortir des trompettes c'est souvent la galère, il faut les extraire avec un poste à arc en collant le demi arbre à la baguette de soudure et tirer délicatement !

I don't think I have ever used 1st gear for anything in my WC52! Always start in 2nd...

Its ok to use them if you take care and maintain. Many people only drives them to wrecks in the forrest and park to rotten down.....

What a nice car - no ESP, no Airbags and even no seatbelts ;-) Every car should be like that!! Love it

No doors, no heater, and a roof which has the tendency to puddle water in the middle, and dump it on your lap through the gap bettween the body and cab canvas when bracking. Apart from that :-)

Hehe, I wish I could do that w/ my friends ride. Honest question though. Can the 51 start from 2nd? I did the math, and you can do 6mph max in 1st, so I assume that you can... Still, better to ask.

First is a crawler gear , The WC51/2/4/have only one range the six wheel version had 2 speed range. So basically you drive it as a three speed box. They were governed to 54 mph, but 45 to 50 mph is quite fast enough.
