The TRUTH about DETOX!
Welcome to “The TRUTH about DETOX”! In this video, we’re diving deep into the detox debate-separating FACT from FICTION in the world of food, health, and wellness. Whether you’re a skeptic or a believer in detoxification, you’ll discover insights that challenge common misconceptions on both sides. Toxins are real, and they can accumulate in your body through pollution, chemicals, and even the food you eat. But how effective are detox programs, really? We explore why relying solely on your organs like the liver and kidneys might not be enough to handle the constant onslaught of harmful substances. Plus, we discuss why extreme detox remedies, like coffee enemas or excessive diarrhea-inducing products, can do more harm than good. Instead of biohacking your body, learn how to support your organs for optimal health through proper nutrition, hydration, and healthy lifestyle habits. We’ll also cover how to identify and avoid harmful chemicals, including toxins in black plastics and everyday products. This video is packed with actionable tips for anyone looking to improve their health and understand the science behind detoxing. If you want to make smarter food choices, avoid toxins, and ensure your body’s systems are functioning at their best, hit play and join the conversation! The problem with the vegan/vegetarian diet is the chemical warfare that they wage on the environment. As we all know, cows should be grazing pasture, greed often gets in the way and bad farming practices can cause issues both with the environment and animal welfare, but livestock farming can be done in an ethical and sustainable way. There is no need to protect cattle from nature, when they live in it. Arable farming, cannot really be done in an ethical and sustainable way. Especially if there are no animals on the farm. You may not know this, but fertilisers are made from fossil fuels. They have us worried about cow farts (that come from the grass it eats) and turning a blind eye to the fact that crops like corn, carrots and cabbage eat fossil fuels. Meaning, when you eat them, you are eating an increase in CO2 levels. But that is not the main problem, the main problem relates to the fact that we cannot allow a single bug to land on these miles and miles of its natural food source, that we have planted all together in the same place. So we destroy an entire ecosystem to protect it. AND rather than enriching the soil like cattle do, we are depleting it. It's madness! The really sad part is, vegans think they have the moral high ground.

    How could you eat anything if you don’t eat any “living” thing?!

    • @eatislovetv2857
      @eatislovetv2857 13 днів тому

      Technically speaking, that's the difference between an autotroph and a heterotroph. Autotrophs, like most plants, can make energy from the non-living things in their habitat such as sunlight, minerals in the ground and (mostly) the carbon in the air. Heterotrophs can only get their energy from eating other life forms. Heterotrophs include fungi and animals, including us.

      Thank you so much for your comments. These are intriguing thoughts that point at what I find to be the most interesting thing about food. People don't usually think about the fact that the life/death cycle, also known as "food" goes back literally to the very beginning of the universe. In a way, the entirety of existence as we know it is nothing but an exchange of energy that started with the very first star and I'm not even kidding. If you haven't watched it yet, my very first video touched on this. Really, the life/death cycle has no beginning and no end - all we've been doing on this planet for the past 3.8 billion years is trading the same little collection of carbon. In a way, that's all life is - just the passing back and forth of energy from one living thing to another. When you look at it that way, there is no such thing as one life form being "higher" or superior. We're all just the same life and that connection reminds me that we really are the same. Here's a link to my first video if you're interested: ua-cam.com/video/OoV3Z7gIqis/v-deo.html

    We do not need to consume B12! Meat and dairy may be nutrient dense , but. We can't metabolize it properly.

    • @eatislovetv2857
      @eatislovetv2857 13 днів тому

      Interesting perspective. I'd love to know your source(s) on that info. My understanding is that b12 deficiency can have multiple impacts on a person's health. Possibly the one I've seen most often is just really low energy. That can become a real downward spiral because the lower one's energy, the less likely they are to take action to turn it around so it becomes a positive feedback loop of being tired because I'm tired from being too tired to fix being tired and so it goes...Thanks for the comment! The conversation here is where the fun really begins.

      @eatislovetv2857 Many studies were done on vegans that don't take supplements. No deficiencies. I have been plant based for almost 46 years. 12 years vegan. No deficiencies. Recent studies were done in India on vegan . The bacteria that we ingest with raw plant foods produces more than adequate amounts of B12 that is absorbable. B12 taken by mouth isn't absorbable unless broken down by friendly bacteria. A low fiber destroys that bacteria, making meat , dairy eaters much more susceptible than vegans.

    A quick word about "elimination diets." If done properly, they can be a useful tool in diagnosing how your body responds to different foods and in an upcoming video, we'll talk more about how to do them right. All too often, as in some of the examples in this video, people simply stop eating entire food groups altogether, long-term, which can have less than ideal results.

    Sir fruits and vegetables have changed throughout history which have been modified multiple times and surprisingly they become more sugary or have way more sugar than before you cannot even compare old fruits and vegetables with today fruits and vegetables. Also why are we still eating phytotoxins which are found in fruits and vegetables. That's definitely weird why give ourselves chemotherapy by eating those foods ? Our main source of energy isn't glucose. 96% of all scientific studies are a scam or basically just made to fit their own agenda. So yeah we should eat eggs and meat because that's our optimal diet . Before we didn't have any issues with our teeth now we do 😅 you could guess why but really I thought we were smart . Oh wait we are it's just that we have been indoctrinated since ages.

    it's worth noting that the NOVA system does not tell you if a food is "healthy." It only tells you how much processing it's been subjected to. A bundle of fresh hemlock, for instance, would be deadly poison but would receive a level 1 rating with NOVA if it's unprocessed and fresh.

    I feel like this argument is throwing the onus on normal people for this insane food waste. I used to live in California and would see shops throw away perfect food. Donuts, bread, veggies, and everything under the sun. That food could easily be donated to the homeless or sold at a discount and I would buy it. Also fruit/veggies that don't look perfect are thrown away again. I don't get the argument saying me throwing out an old sandwich from 10 days ago in my fridge is anywhere near as impactful as a grocery store buying 100 lb of fresh tomatoes, selling 10 lbs, then throwing the rest in a dumpster.

    • @eatislovetv2857
      @eatislovetv2857 6 місяців тому

      Hey, thanks so much for this thoughtful post! There's no doubt that commercial entities such as grocery stores and restaurants could potentially have a greater impact than I do as an individual. Thing is, the only thing I can do right now, today, is to not waste my own food. If I had the power to fix the grocery chains, I would do it in a heartbeat but I don't have that agency so for now, I'm going to clean up my side of the street. One person can have a surprising impact in this arena. That being said, I strongly support anyone who would work for changing the way grocers and restaurants discard such shameful amounts of edible food. There are some really excellent organizations working for that change. We really do have the power to change things for the better. I have, as a member of a small local group, spoken at city council meetings to support policies I believed in (we won, by the way!) and I firmly believe in the power of getting involved at any level of democracy though perhaps most the most potent is the local level. I squarely agree with the points you're raising. Commercial enterprises can and should work to drastically reduce unnecessary food waste, as do wholesalers and distributors. In the mean time, the one thing I can do, right now, today, is to not waste the food that I buy. Thanks again for your insightful comment! Hope to see you here again. This is exactly the kind of conversation I hope to have here. thx AA
