Senyu - Japanese WW2 Military Song
Senyu - Japanese military song.
Perhaps the most famous military song, Senyu, "Comrade in arms" or "War Comrade", was written after the Russo-Japanese war.
During WWII, although prohibited, it was very popular for veteran soldiers and tolerated by superiors officers.
I do not own the rights to this song neither do I claim anything related to it. I found this song on mission4today.com uploaded by Corsican_Corsair. I could not find this song on youtube so I uploaded this music-video to let other people listen to it as well.

I don’t agree with anything Japan did in world war 2. They committed tons of atrocities against the people in china and Korea. But I have mad respect for the soldiers of Japan and their willingness to sacrifice themselves for the sake of their nation. It’s absolutely glorious. To love your country like that is rare these days.
Play this on 2x speed and you feel like you are falling apart
😂😂😂
Respect from Thailand.

I grew up listening my father singing this song. His father, my grandfather, fought in the Japan-Russia war. I find the song sad, even thought I don't understand the lyrics.
This is my grandfather hell☠ 1943 in malaysia😢
Why was it prohibited during WW2? Bad for morale?
Se parece a Roei No Uta.
The last thing the Chinese heard at the Marco-Polo bridge (no hate)
"Senuy" -Japanese song of ww2 .
I guess this pic must be taken on the way to Imphal Kohima war front.
Rest in peace
This song was actually from the Russo-Japanese War, It just got popular again in ww2.
Спасибо. Как жаль что нам в школе так мало рассказывают о событиях русской японских войн. Хотя я живу во Владивостоке это рядом с Японией и мне интересна история края и то что в ней происходило.
Great song 🎵 of warriors
Japan was a pretty cool country back then.
When Russia breaks peace negotiations.
Довайте не здесь?
An anti-war song, with a possibly gay undertone, in a conservative and militaristic society, back in 1905. Must have taken massive balls
Why does this say it’s a ww2 song? It was created after the Ruso Japanese war and it was banned in ww2 because of the war weariness elements it had

My japanese friend's grandpa fought in the battle of Okinawa. And died there... his family couldnt even get his dead body back. They kept his letters that he used to send home. And yeah, he was a japanese pilot. (Never did kamikaze) he was on the usual way of air dogfights with his kawasaki and mitsubishi. Just explained u briefly... i remember my friend after listening to this beautiful heart touching song.
@習肉包子 ohh. Im sorry. I dont know japanese. Thanks for correcting me.

Thanks to the game "Death Mark" I found it out. I hum the melody of this march almost every day. It got me under its spell.

This is the Japan before Anime, Nightcore, Highpitched voices, hentai, ecchi, Vtubers, etc. But with a little more war crimes.
What is the name of the song the old man sings starting at 0:44 of ua-cam.com/video/MlGxw_IWy7Y/v-deo.html

I pray that the People of Japan will take Bacj their History. Return to the Spi6 of Yamoto!!Banzai Banzai Banzai !!!
That second guy from the right in first row sitting down was the commander of this platoon. He looks intimidating
No. The commander is the one sitting middle on front role who is famously called Renya Mutaguchi who led disastrous Imphal offensive and lost 50,000 soilders, the one behind him in helmet is his chief of stuff Obata......
@@kaungkhantaye6318 I'm not sure what you mean, you mean the guy in middle front row led 50,000 men to their death ? Thats cold and what about the guy behind him he is the general?
@@jackpantrey7955 I need to insert comma , so there are some misunderstanding. That guy Mutaguchi in middle front role is commander responsible for 50,000 deaths and behind him is his C.O.S called Obata who is dismissed only after being promoted for awhile coz in arguement with him for impossible logistics feats.....
death mark brought me here
My parents and my grandfather used to sing this song. My grandfather served in the Japanese Imperial Navy in the early 1900's.
Well
essas coisas me deixam com arrepios, não sei pq...

Does anyone know a Japanese ww2 song it had to do something with enfieldment. I had it before but it was taken down.
You mean “Roei no uta”?
My 96 year- old great grandmother still sings this song sometimes. She learned it from her japanese father who occassionally sang it as lullaby when they were children.
Wow thats just like my Great-Grandpa who is nearly 101. He fought in WW2 and lost two of his best friends who he still remembers to this day. His name in war was Field Marshall, Akihiro Haruto Yamamoto.
Fr00tL00p5 is he still alive? i hope.
@@lucadicosimo7137 Yeah don't worry he had his 101st birthday on May 18th
@@ainowa_arts Got any images of the guy if you don't mind me asking. History is pretty interesting respect your gramps o7
