I am definitely learning from scratch. I already felt I had an understanding on some of these things and went from being Jewish to mainly spiritual. I feel like we are all one and connected. Also, it is the person who comes from outside this eco system explores it in detail and so they (such as Melissa ji) are best suited to make Hindus (born but not explored it yet) realize these aspects about Sanatana Dharma.
