Don't know what they were thinking back then, that roller trailer is junk anyway lol. Slowly working on it now and then when I get a chance. Hopefully I will get it out by next spring, might just be with a trolling motor but oh well. Can't imagine what this boat could of run with a proper 150 setup on it? @@Ranger374_ there were two guys in our bass club in the early 80s running Wranglers. One had a 140 Johnson and he could get in the mid to upper 50s, depending on what he was hauling. The other guy was running an XP 150 Evinrude, right after they first came out and he was in the low to mid 60s but it got really squirrely at that speed, so he traded up to a 18 foot Stratos and kept the Evinrude. If it's set up right, you should be satisfied with something in the upper 50s. That would be about right for that hull.

@MarshallLanier Thanks for the info. This boat had a Mercury 150 Tower of Power on it. Removed it because the mice ate away everything they could. Hopefully I find something eventually to put on it. Will concentrate this fall on the pumps and electric stuff. Will get a progress video out when I get something else done. Thanks again Tim 👍🎣
