Great to see a responsible owner recognize their dog needs professional training etc and actually get it for them. Makes everyone's lives so much better, easier, safer, funner etc & it's great to see a happy healthy well trained dog that's night n day different, and then the owners reaction to realizing their life with the dog they love can actually begin now without mainly being about worrying what the dog is going to do, who can be around them n who can't etc! Great job and story all around! Blu made so much positive and great progress, can tell with training continued at home etc it will really be great for the owner and dog. Its unfortunate when people get a dog/puppy because they think it's cute as a puppy & "cool" as an adult but don't do any research on the breed, the person they're getting it from, the dogs parents & grandparents, what type of line the dogs coming from (sport, working, show etc) , have the parents and puppy health checked and so on. Unfortunately with the Molosser breeds, pitbull type and bully breeds, bulldog type breeds (not English or French), shepards, livestock guardian & herding breeds, the Anatolian Shepards, Alabai, kangal type breeds, then dog breeds created specifically for fighting, hunting big game and being the bite/catch dog in that team/scenario or the dog out of the group meant to fend off or possibly fight/kill things like wolves, coyotes, bears, bobcats, mountain lion, wild boar etc then when purchased by someone with no experience and don't understand why love, affection, toys, treats etc haven't stopped those breeds from being dominant , resource guarding, protective of their home/yard/family, don't like other dogs and strangers and so on. Unfortunately it's way to common and the dogs end up suffering or being put down because the owner wasn't experienced, did no research on the breeder, breed, parents/bloodline etc it came from, expected a yellow or chocolate Labrador / golden retriever type personality etc. Dog owners should be required to do research on the breed, breeder, type of bloodline/temperaments and personality the parents and grandparents have as adults, have dogs health checked, if are first time owners of the breed type or dog ln general do a puppy training course with the puppy, another follow up at like 6 months to a year depending breed type bc some Don't mature until 2 or 3 years of age, and again once a mature adult. Also not be able to neuter or spay their dog until it's matured physically, mentally etc so their bones, joints, organs, brain etc all got the proper hormones and such to develop properly N fully , then if still believed it needs to be "fixed" consult 2 or 3 veterinarians and do so accordingly if they agree and a professional trainer agrees. Keep up the great work and putting out the great message and training you are!

My boy is 18 months, I don’t think he’s going to get the big red mane, but I could be wrong..I’m super attached to my boy, he’s a real sweetheart!

Dachshunde are really nice dogs. I had one when I was a kid. They are funny, smart and playful. Sometimes a bit stubborn, they have character. I hope he will find a nice, cozy home.
