I bought my 2003 SVT Cobra in October 2002. Great and powerful car! Didn’t have time to upgrade it at the time trying to make the monthly payments It was $33,000 back then at least. I ended up having to sell it when I moved in 2004 😢 Thanks for the video SVTDan and Rick Titus!

I have a very tired '02 2.0 Ghia [ 5 door ] and it always had trouble with a tight traction control and a bit of torque steer. As mine is a 1 August car this came out just after mine and they did a job on the drive train. With just 130 at the wheels, with 130 torque [ a horseporque ] and sitting on -30 Eibachs it is still a lot of fun. But, an LSD and maybe some SVT parts may be in the future. I also have a Volvo 850 T5 and have been tempted to make a 5 cylinder Mk1 5 door Focus [ a Unicorn ] but, the Volvo people would not be happy! Keep an eye one your rear leaks, mine needed welding from all the salt in the UK. [ now the sills have fell off! ]

I wonder if the SVT had anything to do with the revamped breathing system of the 1st generation Windstar and its split port induction which boosted the 3.8 Essex's horse-power from 150 to 200hp.

When they came out in 03' I had a chance to buy One, or a Harley Davidson F150.. I chose the truck but kick myself these days! These Cobra's have gone up and up in Price, still love my truck but damn.. Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda???

I have a 2002 SVT Lightning (purchased on Mar 2023) and I love it. The truck only has 32k miles.

I have the OR MAC ProChamber and Magnapacks on my '04 40th GT...other than the supercharger whine, it's amazing how similar our cars sound.
