I noticed one of the wool bags was marked Suffolk ewes. Do you get a different price from the Wool Board if you separate the fleeces by breed? As someone who really appreciates wool in all manner of clothing, it astonishes me that it costs a farmer more to shear a sheep than that fleece will bring at sale.

What an operation

Nice to see all the coordinated teamwork required to bring in the silage that will be needed in colder times. Just curious - did you put a cover over the silage, to protect it from rotting into green soup, with excessive rainfall? Farms that I’ve seen show how they put up their silage or haylage, either put it into gigantic bags, or underneath gigantic tarps weighted down, to keep water out. Great grass , great batch of sheep , great shapes to them lambs , them ewes crossed to a suffolk would leave great cocky lugged ewe lambs , very popular cross here in Ireland , best of luck with them.

Well done, cracking video. Great to see some positivity about young farmers! Your rally is a little different to ours in England but just as much fun by the looks of it. Keep the videos coming. Oh and great jumper!

You are doing a great job. I love seeing the animals. But also film other things you do during the day, like eating breakfast, going to school, doing homework, show your mom (or whoever) fixing dinner and the family eating together. We would like to see lots of activities that make up the Junior Shepherds life. Keep up the good work!

Hi Boys, what percentage of the seed did the birds get? Across the road from me an Amish farmer is disking a field for corn. Here in Maryland the weather is fickle, we went from 60 degrees (F) to 80 degrees in one day so we are just starting to plant. How much regenerative farming practices do the scots farmers utilize? Good to see you guys on YT again. How did your family do in lambing this year? Do the lambs look promising for market? Hope you get a good price for them.
