Nice review! I own the automatic version Acatama.2 since about 3 years and I am absolutely convinced about the excellent LACO quality at a fair price point 👍.

I recently purchased a POINTtec "IRON ANNIE, Chronograph, TEMPELHOF 5862-M" watch online with a 5130.D Ronda quartz movement from Startech. When I received it, the watch did not work at all, and only started for a period of 24 hours after setting the time, to stop working again. And so on. After returning to the after-sales service, I had to wait almost 3 months to get this watch back in working order. The repair announced by the after-sales service consisted of simply replacing the Quartz movement completely (for which I had to wait 3 months) Never again a POINTtec watch for me!

I have the older model full lume dial and hands. Spectacularly beautiful watch. But, at 3:30 am dark-thirty and the lume is faded low, it is really difficult to differentiate the hands from the dial. There needs to be better contrast. If you stare at the dial for a few good seconds, you can see the hands. But at a glance in the dark, you got no chance of differentiateing the hands from the dial. The fix would be to black out the hands for much better contrast. Yes, I wear my watches 24/7.

I recently bought fugu but my watch rotor makes too much noise when I simply turn my hand. The rotor is noisy. Is it normal?

Great review! I bought Spinnaker Dumas from Long Island watches, it has good lume and as far is quality I take Seiko Turtle and Citizen Promaster over it because they have brand recognition and spare parts. I accidentally broke my watch bezel, since sharp glass was sticking from the bezel I could not wear it. I emailed Spinnaker to buy a bezel insert to fix it myself, they emailed me back to send my watch to their authorized service center and when I ask about the estimate how much will it cost they did not respond anymore to my email. I threw my watch in the trash. This brand not only doesn’t have good customer service, they don’t have spare bezel insert as Helm or Seiko or so on and their watches are same price or more then recognized brands.

I have the hurricane but a different colour, great watch. The spitfire that you presented is really very nice plus the story that comes with it. Some will say that this brand is aimed at the British market but I don't see why it should be because I am English and have a couple of iron annie watches which I really like.

I own a Spinnaker Fleuss Oxblood Red and always would prefer it over the Dumas. It has the same movement but is not so chunky. 150 m waterresistance is enough and it is looking better as a nice hommage to the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. 2023 45mm Box Papiere
