Perfectly put it does get warm but not on your head works perfectly fine not advisable to leave on on your your bed though it needs air around it to keep it cooler but perfectly safe best out there wb460 headlamp from katran great review thanks 😊 👌

I wish that carp fishing was popular enough here in the USA that we had lines made just for carp fishing.
I dont feel like setting my hair on fire with a torch. It does sound way cooler than calling it a headlamp though.

@@thenortherncarper251 I got 2 set ups one compact as you can imagine and one I take when doing exclusives and what not. The compact set up like yourself can walk from the car nicely and still have everything I need, I use the camo thinking anglers rucksack with the tray but just got the Korda camo 30L rucksack. everything I need for 24/48hrs including change of clothes is in there there but I'm going to replace my fox tackle fox with a couple pouches as I do see the space saving and like the fact I have to go back to the tackle shop to buy more😂I know you don't really do over nights is there a real reason behind it? Would love to see your full set up for going 24/48+
@@VeteranOutdoorsUk ahh decent man! Yeah you will have plenty of space in that rucksack! And like you say it’s an excuse to get back to the shop 😂 I love the fact I can literally fish and walk anywhere I want! The reason I don’t do nights is I get really itchy feet and I feel I’m much more productive in the days and I can really utilise my watercraft skills. I feel doing nights is generally a waste of as bite time is usually between 4-7am and 7-10pm most places. So I feel my time is wasted just sat in a bivvy hoping for the best. If I was doing a night I’d only really take a bivvy and bedchair, I don’t bother with over wraps and doors or flooring. If it keeps the rain off my head I’m happy. All those years spent with the military in the field have made me really appreciate the basics so I’m not a very needy angler! Tight lines Ben
Hi, how do you stop the blank that pushes into the butt section from scratching when retracting?
@@DanielOwen-q1z make sure you clean the blank before retracting! RC tackle also have a special clip that clips onto the retractable section to stop it rubbing during transport! Make sure you check it out! Don’t forget to use the code!

95% of all my terminal fits into an NGT XPR Terminal Box, (just missing that rig board like Korda Basix)...rest is PVA in a trakker Bucket with all the PVA setup 👍👍

I used to take the Kitchen sink "What If"...now its 2x6ft Rods in the rod holdall with net, sling, alrms on banksticks...Rucksack with Terminal, Food/cook bits, hat, torch, gas, etc etc, Tracker Bucket with Bait, Chair, Beanie Matt....job done.

Top angling fella banking another one u could see u were delighted to catch another i think these tougher venues are without doubt so much more rewarding when u bank one im off on my travels again next month farlows for 48hrs then across to the cotswold waterpark for 72hrs i live in cental scotland so its a bit of an adventure lol cheers fella be lucky

I'm glad no one fishes for carp where I live. All I use is a hook, braided line, a swivel, and a weight. When it gets weedy I use a float and a small weight. I have a 10,000 plus acre lake a few blocks away from where I live that hardly anyone fishes for carp and catfish Funny part is that I'm going to a local hardware store this morning to buy up all of their carp fishing supplies. They have had it on display for two years now and I am getting a good deal on it because no one buys the stuff.

We keep the spool that some line came off of and use it on a drill to take the line off. Then we can recycle the line at the fishing shop later.

Why does it matter if they blend in? The fish won’t see them under the rod tip.
@@terrybirks8538 if you’ve got one rod at distance and one in the margin, if you’ve got something that doesn’t blend in then it can spook them, also when fishing canals depending on the layout of the bottom you can have multiple across to your hook bait 👍
Been using crypton for a few years now mega line best on the market cast like a dream sinks well mega abrasive, glows at night if required. All the products from the Katran brand are extremely strong & all made. I prefer to wrap my line off using distance sticks as you know exactly how much you are taking off. Then use the Katran spooling tool 🙌
