I don't think they should panic any more than any other team. The SEC is just much more competitive this year, without a Georgia or Alabama steamrolling everyone. I think home field has been a huge advantage for many teams this year because there's not a huge difference between a lot of teams. I'm an LSU guy. A&M crushed us in the second half. Do I think A&M is 3 touchdowns better. No. If the games at LSU there's a good chance the Tigers win. The same thing with Alabama and Georgia. I think Texas was a bit overrated because nobody really knew how bad Michigan and Oklahoma were so those wins made them look better. Hopefully all of the competition will better prepare whatever SEC teams make the playoffs to make a good run.
