Jax is my hometown. I also recently acquired an Insta360 X4 and use it to record my cycling adventures (road and mountain).
Hi John, I will be moving to Nocatee in 2025. Noticing that your rides are in the mornings. Is that because of heat, traffic, bugs, work or are you a morning person? Currently I normally ride after work (6pm till dark) in Connecticut. Thanks for posting your rides, can't wait for new challenges and scenery.

The 50 miler in 2.5 hrs is nice if you did it alone, and there was anything steeper than an overpass on the route. 5/7 guys ttt on the flats - not so impressive! Course by the soundtrack I'm guessing your my age, so . . . Nah, that's still not very impressive.
Is that really that "fast"? Seven or eight guys ttt-ing, not a hill to be climbed?
Looks like a lot of fun. It's crazy here, A+ is 25-32. I can hang with the first 15 miles when it stays 25-28. The last 15, I'm toast almost immediately.

It's actually quite peaceful with very little traffic, and they can see you far away with all the lights I have flashing. Makes for a picturesque dawn view over the ocean!
