An air raid siren is used to provide emergency population warning or call the volunteer fire department to go fight a fire. The electric motor in my siren comes from an old vacuum cleaner.

PCL86 is a vacuum tube with triode and pentode inside. Many years ago PCL86 was installed in TVs but today we can find it only in amateur audio amplifiers.

If you want to hear bass from this subwoofer you should use headphones or other type of low frequency sound player. Voice coil: 2x 8 Ohm Speaker size: 15 inch / 40 cm

Two ways i know how to make this thing louder is: 1. The rotor needs to be closer to the stator. 2. The motor has to be faster.

How much power have yours amplifiers? My has around 20w with 4ohm. Coild in hdd has 16 ohms and effect is not so good :D

The big problem with the is the amount of gaps between the chopper and the stator. If there were no gaps, and it was made out of thicker metal, it would way louder.

@@lilshag3472 but 2000 Watts is not a small amount and is clearly not needed for every sub. Even under 1000 watts would probably be fine for rms but idk if you're talking 2000 rms or peak. Rms matters more so you really don't need that much anyways.
