I would like the parameters of the model (weight, dimensions of the propeller, engine, engine speed), thank you Tomáš.
awesome thanks
hi...nice maiden flight. I just bought one and putting and DLE55ra on it. But i realized the engine is way back behind the cowl opening. Did you experience the same issue?
Not my plane, I was oncamera duty - I will ping the owner to respond, thanks!
@@nickmorgan5053 i see...hahaha..ok then. hope u get the answer soon
Looks and sounds great
What CG location did you use and what os your total weight? Thanks
_Overboard_ and _over board_ have opposite meanings. I think you mean over board. Also Ricardo Campello recommends a slightly upwind take off. He said it whips you around a bit faster. But I have heard that a bit off the wind is better.
What does she weigh??? Thx
What size prop?
19x8
Just acquired a like new GF40 will be getting a TopRC Spitty for it soon!
Sweet landing!
Cheers wfletch88!
What a joke of a video total rubbish please only post how to do it when you can do it.
great instructions
Just another tip to perform cleaner loop even if you turn upwind to get a wave : move back your back hand AND your front hand before the jump. Your front hand can be just before the harness line in order to accelerate the rotation! It's very useful for loop beginners!
Merci Herve! I'll try it and post a video when I crack it
Well said I mean the first forward is rubbish,
It's a good idea to compute wing loading before you buy scale stuff. The lighter wing loading models will probably fly better.
This is one of the best tutorials that made me understand how a forward loop works. Im working on them, could waterstart a couple but backsplash always. Do you have any recomendation for onshore wind? its kind of hard to jump high on broad reach, so i keep turning upwind to jump.. Thanks for the video!
Hi Jose I sail onshore too - hence the backsplash you see on camera ... I try to jump as downwind as I can, but is not always easy to judge. Anyway, there are 2 options, either kick / scissor your legs to point downwind as you lift off, or just pass this wave and look for the next one Just keep doing them, as everyone confirms: it takes a while to nail them, for me it was over a year and thanks for the kind words :-)
great vid ... nice camera angle u can see whats going on very clearly .... thanks .. am working on them at the moment ..... I keep on landing on my side/ back so dont think am sheeting the sail forward enough
Hi If you are landing on your back you have the commitment, so you are much closer than you think! The usual cause is mentioned in the video: starting the rotation going upwind or leaning back / not standing upright The best tip is: get an action camera and attach it to your mast - you will spot the mistakes and fix them as I did!
thanks, exactly the mistakes I made. I corrected and I turned my first clean front a week ago. Very useful video to understand how it works
Hello sir Nice flight, Could you tell me the following, #1 all up weight #2 cg point you used #3 engine #4 how much weight if any did you add to the nose. Thank you and Happy Flying in 2017
Hi AUW 8 kg, 125mm CG with 250 grams ballast, engine is OS GF-40 4-stroke gas Check RCUniverse, there's a long thread with lots of info
Thank you so much for the info. Have a great and safe 2017 season
Very nice flying. Is that BVM Yak 130 ? and what turbine size that you have on it?
hello i have the same your modelloil TEXAN, YOU tell me where you bought the retractable forklifts? Thanks bye
They are ESM retract gear, were on the model when I got it

Hi, Flying weight (no fuel) is 8 kg Build details here: www.rcuniverse.com/forum/rc-warbirds-warplanes-200/11611759-top-rc-models-mkiv-full-composite-spitfire-game-changer-9.html

Nice plane, I'm just starting mine. Where can I get to pilots for my plane at? Thanks
Should you be in the harness lines to do a forward loop? Or is that only something for experts?
Hi ! You should first learn unhooked and then try the hooked (one-handed) variant, Vidar Jensen style :-)
+w1nd6urfer i'll do it :) thank you👍
Thumbs up, sweeeet plane. I started building the same model last year. Can you tell me what is your CG. Any suggestion for a suitable pwr plant prop and retracts? Thanks I can wait to maiden this biird.
Hi Jy, I will check the CG and post, power wise a 30-45cc 2-stroke gas or equivalent electric but beware the cowl is tight. I use a Moki 30cc swinging a Graupner 18x10 at 8000 RPM. ESM air retracts, in the video the front gear was locked down as I was troubleshooting the steering mechanism
Thank you sir, and be watching for CG :)
How did you do the finish? Is that paint or some kind of flite metal?
