The last one was super relatable for me. All throughout my life I have felt like such a failure because I struggled to maintain good grades past elementary school( minus literature, history, and music) In elementary school I worked so so hard to get good grades and I was always very proud of myself to be considered one of the smart/gifted kids. Yet as soon as middle school hit I was no longer able to keep up with the others except for in literature and music. I had extreme burnout already. I used to think I was all of a sudden just plain old average and for me that never felt like it was good enough because if I was just like everybody else there was no more reason to feel like I was smart. I’ve never been able to feel like I accomplished something or feel proud of myself unless I was doing better than other people in an area because if everybody else can do it too then clearly I’m not doing anything to be proud of. It was so hard feeling like I didn’t deserve to be praised or complimented just because I wasn’t doing something above and beyond and to this day I still cannot accept compliments or feel proud of myself. It sucks that test/grades are the only thing that defines how smart you, even if you’re good at other things/subjects. I wanna feel proud of myself and be complimented without it being about smarts and grades😔

I would thumb suck but GERMS and the taste of everyday things so I gotta wash my thumb off before and it's not worth it

I used to think I was an introvert and then I saw a bunch of stuff about being extroverty with social anxiety and/or autism and now I really think thats probably me. I love hanging out with friends and playing video games or board games. get me in a room with more than 6 people or with people I don't know and I want to leave.
