Good tip. For those that want to save money should think about getting these or making their own. The biggest fail point for the NCE system is at the connectors so folks should be prepared for this multiple times over the life of the system. Appreciate the tip!

Very nicely done! I like the way you describe what and how you plan to do something, and then explain how it worked or needed a change or an adjustment. I have been model railroading for ove 30 years and enjoy watching other modelers work. It's an excellent way to learn new ideas and techniques. I picked up three new ideas watching your video, and hopefully (at my age) I will remember what they were. 😏 I like the Campbell shingles as well. I have a suggestion to offer. If you dip a small paint brush in water it gives you better control wetting the glue on the back of the shingles. I use this added control to just wet the solid part (not where the cuts are) of the adhesive. Then when I apply the strip to the roof card, the shingles themselves don't get glued down. This makes it easier to lift the shingles because they're not glued to the layer in front and under of them. Thanks for taking the time to make this well done video for all of us to view. I have subscribed to your channel and I'm looking forward to viewing your other videos. Alan Bibb

Wow you are a meticulous builder! New sub here. Inter-Action Hobbies has some cool stuff. I think I got their gas meters and a couple boats. I scratch built a couple drink machines about a year ago out of .020 stryrene and printed photos from a Google search. Lit them with WS JustPlug lighting. If you go to my channel and search for Vending Machines, you can check them out. We used several of the same techniques in our builds. Take care - Bill.

Great tutorial on building this, Bob. I was interested since I have this in my drawer to build someday. I've done a few of his other detail pieces and one of his structure kits and have loved them all. I agree with you on your preference for canopy glue, I like it's thinner viscosity over regular PVA glues for fine work like this. Also, excellent camera work.

Excellent video and tutorial! I have the O scale version of this kit and you really did an excellent job to let us know what is involved in making these. You are right that making these will take longer than an hour, but the effort is definitely worth it. Thank you for posting this!

I like the Bonney Tool building. My first tools I bought when I was 14 were Bonney. I still have them 63 years later. Your work is really nice.

Bob, very nice job building the ITLA kit. Your channel was linked from Nick's email, glad I found it. I'm looking forward to catching some of your other videos. And good call on not painting the brick walls before assembly. One thing I might try if I get one of these is coloring the bricks with Copic markers. I built one of ITLA's kits using only them, they work well with the MDF. And they wouldn't add any thickness like paint would. Great job!
