that also happened to me when i booked a cebu pacific flight going to caticlan. in my booking it indicated that i have the choice to select seats (prepaid, comes with what i paid for the booking) but when i started to choose my seat after paying, the website wanted me to pay again for my choice of seat. wtf?! their website is not user-customer friendly. the interface is confusing and jumps from one website to another sub-site. they need to clean this crap on their end.

Very good point... Are we all sure its a low cost airline? When we buy a luggage, food and seat it will suddenly transform to a mid or high cost . Cebu Pacific is all Robot its quite good you had a talk with a live person everyone should also know how can we talk with a live person.

Same thing happened to us on an international trip on another airline. Bought seats for 11 pax (company holiday trip). Checked-in 24 hours before the flight, no problem. At T2 Counter, we were scattered all over, no preferred seats among us. Change to a smaller plane also. As for paid seats ni ha ni ho, no mention at all. Ty na lang. On the return we had the original plane and our purchased seats too.

I had an issue with the Cebu Pac CSR too. Another kind of situation naman.. They seem to lack the information/training needed to resolve certain issues appropriately. If it is outside their skill set, some tend to make "mema" just so they can dish out an answer. An answer that does not make sense. my wild guess is that some CSRs avoid escalating an issue to another CSR (with more skill set) to avoid "coaching session." Coaching is a nice term for reprimand oi the BPO environment,
