Hartley's Crocodile Adventure - Cairns, Australia

Cairns, Queensland, Australia. Today we’re taking a road trip north to Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures to get hands-on with some unique wildlife. While this location is known for, of course, crocodiles (and we’ll get to them later), they also rescue and rehabilitate a variety of animals including kangaroos, wallabies, and wombats. But the creature most in need of support - due to population decl...

You know what guys I started hearing rumblings that you Guys were plastic Maori 😡 WTF I said this is the problem with being a Maori and why my Nana and I also hated having any connections to Maori. I didn't even know I was a Maori this is why I could see that there was alot of intertribal hate ie envy 😡 Be honest now nothing worse than a jealous Maori. A more weak whining man looking for any excuse to take it out his own family mostly 😡 It's a result of our not so recent past Guys 🤔 If we didn't have something we wanted the best thing about our culture we stole it ♥️😊 Makes me proud GIVE IT 😂

Did that silly woman Didi have no respect or compassion for the ray she speared at all? Where was her reflection of the symbiotic relationship with living things in the environment? Marine creatures feel pain like creatures of the land and air. It was speared and gasping for breath for so long, but she held it up like that just for the sake of the video with complete insensitivity, and the two men didn't help by example. If you're going to kill any marine animal or fish to prepare, cook and eat, do it quickly. Once caught, put it out of its fear and pain straight away.

I lived as a teenager on the Victorian lighthouses and my first ever job , at 18, was as a relief lighthouse keeper at Otway. I am now 72. My family were the last to live in the old signal station. It breaks my heart nowadays to see it all modernised as a tourist attraction, but that's life, I guess. But does anybody else know that we (the 3 families at the time) buried a time capsule in 1968, or where we buried it? Does anybody want to know?

I’ve been a visitor to Cape Otway since the early 80’s. My family had a house in Hordern Vale. I was there in 1994 when they discontinued the lighthouse. We use to walk the area a lot. I’m fascinated with the stories of Cape Otway. The missing plane last scene near Crayfish bay. The buried treasure near blanket bay. I would love to know any old stories you have. The lighthouse has unfortunately changed. I made a complaint last time I was there as the cemetery had rubbish everywhere. It’s a great part of the world

@@benedward8483 I spent a lot of alone time at Blanket Bay and Crayfish bay back in 1968 (also Parker River). And by 'alone', I mean that I never came across another person. Nobody went there back then. It was the same with Station Beach on the West Side. The cemetery looked nothing like it does now. It had never actually been maintained; just left alone, and it had giant cactus with peoples names carved on it. I hate how they 'renovate' history. Last time I walked out to Crayfish bay from Apollo Bay (about 20 years ago) I was horrified when I arrived to see that it was full of cars and camper vans, and there was a sign telling me that I should have carried my own firewood. I found out a few days ago that one of the lighthouse keepers from back in the 60's is still alive. His name is Kevin Underwood and he must be about the same age as my dad, who is 94 . The other lighthouse keeper I knew from back then died just last year. He was 93 It seems that lighthouse keepers live a long time. If you ever want to know where our time capsule is buried Ben, let me know and I'll try and tell you. 😊

My wild born orphan is definitely not my pet, he's my mate. Such a unique relationship gaining the trust and bond from a wild born animal with an instinctive natural fear of humans. I would much rather be looking at photos of him living free and learning to be a dingo instead of sharing photos of his progress in an unnatural world he was never born into. His parents were both victims of the indiscriminate colonial mentality of landscape wide aerial baiting with 1080.
