For the Neocons (Globalists) who are prosecuting the war through NATO and the EU, is a matter of greed. For the Russians it is an existential threat against which they have been protesting since the year 2008. A nation fighting for its survival, will do everything in its power and capacity with a passion hundredfold than the greedy. Unfortunately Ukraine which is connected at the hip to Russia historically, culturally, economically and politically has permitted its leadership to hijack and choose to go with NATO etc. drafting its own destruction as a viable economic and political entity. The West by sending more dangerous and long term weaponry is prompting the Russians to virtually extinguish Ukraine's existence by advancing all the way to the European borders. This is to prevent any NATO/Ukrainian insurgent occupied territory to launch attacks into the Russian heartland and Western regions. BRICS is symbolic of the global south, who believe that Russia is fighting their fight, but dare not say so openly. The unipolar world is ending and with it US hegemony which stands on military and financial might. The latter is not real might but a sleight of hand, where US dollars are being recirculated by virtue of it being the reserve currency, and this is going to come to an end in big steps over next 20 years. No one now trusts the USA and Europe to hold their foreign currency reserves nor their gold reserves. We will see each BRIC country as a regional hegemon. Russia in North East Asia, North West Asia, Central Asia and Eastern Europe. China will be the hegemonic power in East and South East Asia, India in South Asia. Brazil will likely to emerge as the regional power base in Latin America whilst South Africa will dominate central, and South African region. Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Iran will have a tussle as to who will be the local hegemonic power in MENA (middle East and North Africa) Moot Question about trade demands and supply chains, security and energy requirements and supply are yet not clear in such an emerging likely scenario.

The obvious strategy would be to take all territory from the Odessa coast to the peacekeeping zone adjacent to Moldova, eastwards to Mykolaiv, Kryvri Rih, Dnipro, Poltava, Kharkiv and use the Dnipro river as a natural border. What about China, India and the rest of the BRICS?

I had heard of the Tet offensive however I didn't know what it was, so thank you for the enlightenment. It seems to me, when comparing the propaganda of the late 60's early 70's to now, the significant difference is summed up in two words "Social Media". Although the globalist dream of segregating communities / neighbourhoods has been succesful (certainly in the UK), it has simultaneously brought us closer together. We do not know each other, yet here I am, listening to you and replying to what you say. It's an unexpected game changer for us (the people). Although western media sells the story of "Russia bad / Ukraine fighting for our freedom" we can all listen and watch President Vladimir Putin / Russian State Figureheads tell us directly their perspective. Simultaneously mobile phone video's and roving (independent) reporters bring us up to the moment information which is uncensored by the the traditional media. No doubt serious attempts will be made to curb the freedom of the internet. Keep the analysis / messages coming as you will be heard 😄
