August 2020 working short staff with supervisor rushing me to move faster to load the trailer so the roller don’t jam up Massachusetts. I ended up hurting my shoulder after physical therapy still not able to return to work they fired me stating I failed to report treatment even though I was reporting treatment still have evidence where I sent updates to management at UPS. I’ve since visit a doctors who diagnosed me with a separated AC Joint 11/2021 the doctor sent in a request for MRI and Surgery. UPS lawyers/fidelity refuse to authorize MRI and surgery request..this coming November coming it will be two years since surgery recommended. Over two years now I’ve had pain fought through thoughts of suicide, constant depression, anxiety and panic attacks. I had a main job 20yrs before picking up ups as a side job I ended quitting 4 1/2 months after I got hurt because I wasn’t able to sleep due to pain the. After UPS fired me I volunteered doing COVID testing to get out the house. I found out after volunteering that the place I volunteered actually pay so I ended up making more money than both My main job and ups so ups cut of my disability saying if I was so hurt why am I still working…ummmm duhhhh! I have BILLS!!!!! Before I got hurt. Anyway, my license expired as this volunteer job required me driving so I haven’t worked since 03/02/2022 no disability payment as they are still refusing my disability. I’m all so still depress they refuse authorization of me see a therapist so yea this is partly why I just found this video as I was so depress thinking about what I’m going through I pretty much shut down. Welcome to UPS don’t drop the soap 🫢

My local is soo company friendly that if you go against the company & take it up with the President of the local a UPSER… The President will go with the company trying to get you FIRED… I’ve never seen anything like it..

I have been with ups only a few years. I hate it. They preach Saftey but their trucks are absolutely terrible and barely operational. Embarrassed to drive them and delivering dirty packages to customers because again those trucks never get cleaned.

I want to personally thank you all for the effort to change the way things are done in the 512 Union. I am a Bus Driver for Durham School Bus, and I can tell you that , the 512 local has duped the workers/ drivers of the school buses into another bad Adhesion contract. And the reason that we did not have the support of the bus drivers is that: everyone who opposed the way things were done, were terminated by the school district at the behest of the company. The way to win is to control the outcome. Life is not easy or fair; never was, never has been; the only thing to do is keep up the good fight...

That’s awesome I just started as a 22.4 driver, I’m pro union all the way ,I’ve seen and heard a lot of upset cranky people, and rightfully so they are busting ass working long hours,I’m just hoping I can make scratch to qualify. This pandemic thing has really screwed up the system. Hiring more people I agree, one of the problems I’ve seen is capable people being let go due to not making scratch. UPS is wasting time and money just to send people through INTERGRAD and a few weeks later the candidate doesn’t make scratch and they’re out on their ear. I understand fellow employees have qualified but during this pandemic you’d think ups would temporarily suspended the scratch for new hires. You’re losing capable people to a technicality called scratch. That’s my 2 cents
