Weird

I grew up in this town and never knew half the history of Putnam Lodge. I do remember the old Train Tracks and the remaining shell of a Station that sat behind this Lodge. We use to go paint our names on the walls. I don't know if it is still there or not. This makes me want to go back and do the walk in the woods again. I think the Old Continental is blocked off and that is how you got behind Putnam Lodge.

I've driven by there for over 30 years and watched it slowly come back to life. Thanks for bringing the rest of the story to us. Well done!

What a beautiful place. The history is fascinating. A group of of us dined there last weekend. We were doing the Otter springs civil war reenactment. We could sense the intense history of this amazing place and the strong people that created it. Thank you so much for this video. We will be back.
