Take a look at any East Indian owned business, do you see any other people other than East Indians working there? No. Don’t talk about multiculturalism Also the gov’t let in way to many people and now housing has skyrocketed, healthcare is overwhelmed and I’m assuming schools are packed. Most of those immigrants were from India, That explains the hate.

Not sure what your social bubble has normalized but in the western provinces we absolutely love multiculturalism and our view is that Canadians no matter what skin colour or bloodline should be looked after first and foremost like all the people that came here for a better life and all the people that are here now we need to have a balance so that Canada can be a place people even want to move to in the future because right now this shit is really bad like all Canadians deserve better than this we need the governments to stop getting in the way of job creation and industrialization but they only care about raising taxes and making it harder to “impact the environment negatively” and that’s why the quality of life has gone down so much here and why people are starting to say let’s maybe fix our country before we bring more people into a sinking ship

It's like that because a lack of community. Too many transplants. Its the same problem as LA. Everyone wants to live in Vancity but once they get there and see how unaffordable it is, they leave! Nobody is willing to invest in friendships when ppl dont stay long enough which makes it easier to bail on planned outings. You will never get ghosted as much by 'friends' than when in Vancouver.
