A few weeks after I published my first new Gen. Intamin Megalite, which is now a little more than 2 years old, I started to see a ton of flaws in that design. I saw so many design choices I had made back then to be just stupid, so I was not happy with that being my ''best NL2 project ever''. This is where the story of this project starts:
Basically I started building this coaster pretty much exactly a year ago as a side-project and improved or got rid of every flaw I saw in the old design. The first layout draft was done relatively fast, within the first 2 weeks to be exact, but I would constantly go back and refine this layout. I would re-profile entire track sections or switch out elements over the entire past year.
Now I feel like I am at a point where I consider this layout to be PERFECT, I don't see any flaw in it right now and I think it will stay like this into the future. The layout has been sitting here un-changed for 2 months now, so I have nothing to improve upon. Usually I would change something every week, but I didn't for 2 entire months, so I feel like this is the final version. The layout that I'd consider perfect.
It's a mix of forceful turns, Airtime of every kind and a couple of flowy inversions thrown in. It's fast-paced so you have no time to breathe and there is no deadspot. Every element has a purpose and not a single one is disproportionatly less exciting, but sure there are some outstanig Elements that will wow you more than others.
Up until the end of June I intended to use a different song for this final video, but various small reasons made me switch it out. It was hard to edit with and it didn't have a cinematic feel to it, the final reason to throw out that song came at the Defqon1 Festival. This Song was premiered there and as soon as I heard it, I knew I needed to use it. This is one song that is considered to potentially be ''Track of the Year'' by the Hardstyle community, so the best Hardstyle Song released in 2024. So with this fact, it would only make sense that I use the best Hardstyle song of the Year for what I consider my best NoLimits2 Ride to date.
